What it does
A curator-run single-pool launch hook that owns the pool's liquidity and takes a fixed (unverified) percentage cut from every swap for the curator, with hold timers on its liquidity.
How it works step by step
- Sets up and manages a single pool for a token, with the hook itself adding liquidity in a fixed price range it controls.
- Blocks outside users from adding liquidity, so the hook is the only LP in its pool.
- Takes a cut from each swap (a CUT_BPS value of unknown size) and tracks collected ETH and tokens for a curator to collect.
- Includes a hold period (holdUntil / holdDuration) and a cut-off time (cutAt) that appear to control when hook-owned liquidity can be moved or when the cut stops.
- Swap behaviour
- Swaps pass through beforeSwap checks that may gate trading until the pool is set up. afterSwap takes a percentage cut from the swap amount and records it as collected ETH or tokens.
- Liquidity behaviour
- Third-party adds are likely blocked by beforeAddLiquidity, so liquidity is owned by the hook and managed by the curator. Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook cannot block withdrawals by any outside LP position.
- Fee behaviour
- On top of the pool fee, the hook keeps a swap cut set by a constant (CUT_BPS). The exact percentage cannot be read from bytecode, and the cut is accrued for the curator to collect.
- Owner & admin controls
- A curator address can hand over its role, collect accrued fees, configure the pool and range, and set or extend hold times. It may also move the hook-owned liquidity after holds expire. Exact limits cannot be verified from bytecode.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeAddLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: restricts pool creation to the hook's own setup; beforeAddLiquidity: gates who can add liquidity; beforeSwap: checks that trading is enabled; afterSwap: computes the cut; afterSwapReturnDelta: deducts that cut from swap amounts.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, low confidence).
Who controls it: A single curator key controls setup, fee collection and hook-owned liquidity, and can transfer that role. Traders depend on the curator not pulling the hook's liquidity once holds end.
Risk to user funds: Traders lose a constant cut of each swap, of unconfirmed size. There are no outside LP funds at risk because the hook appears to be the only LP, and withdrawals by others can't be blocked.
Security findings
- [medium] Swap cut via return delta: The hook deducts a cut from swaps using afterSwapReturnDelta. The rate is a constant whose value is not confirmed from bytecode.
- [medium] Curator-controlled liquidity: The pool's liquidity is added by the hook under curator control, with hold timers. After a hold expires, the curator may be able to withdraw or reposition it.
- [low] Swap gating flag: A stored flag is checked in beforeSwap, which may allow trading to be enabled or disabled.
