What it does

A minimal hook that checks each swap after it happens and can reject it, without charging any extra fee (all trades pay only the pool's static fee) or ever affecting LP withdrawals.

How it works step by step

  • Runs a check after every swap in pools that use it.
  • Passes the swap's balance change to an external validate function, which can reject the swap.
  • Does not take fees or change swap amounts.
  • Has no storage and no admin functions in its bytecode.
  • Never runs when LPs add or remove liquidity.
Swap behaviour
After each swap the hook calls an external validate function with the swap's result. If validation fails, the whole swap reverts. The exact rules, and which contract holds them, cannot be confirmed from the 525-byte unverified bytecode.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
Fee behaviour
Uses the pool's static fee; the hook charges no extra fee.
Owner & admin controls
No admin controls found in the hook itself. The validation logic it calls is external, and its rules are unknown.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

afterSwap

afterSwap: validates the completed swap's balance change and can revert the swap.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: low, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).

Who controls it: The hook has no owner or storage. Whoever controls the validation logic it calls could make swaps fail, but cannot take funds.

Risk to user funds: The hook cannot deduct any tokens from swaps or LP positions, so the deduction is 0%. LP withdrawals are unrestricted.

Security findings

  • [info] Swaps can be rejected by validation: Each swap is checked by an external validate call after it executes, and a failed check reverts the swap. The criteria are not visible in this bytecode.
  • [info] Cannot touch funds or block withdrawals: Return deltas and remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook cannot take tokens from swaps or stop LPs from withdrawing.
