What it does
Every swap pays the same fixed hook fee that is split between the token creator, platform and holders, while LPs can add and withdraw liquidity freely.
This read was written for the hook 0xf662…a0cc on Ethereum and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.
How it works step by step
- Charges a fixed swap fee (FEE_BPS constant, exact value not readable from bytecode) on trades in a single token's pool.
- Splits collected fees between the token creator, a platform treasury, and a holders share using hard-coded split constants plus a platform cut set at initialization.
- Tracks swap volume in ETH and the time of the last swap.
- Lets the creator and platform claim their accrued fees, and lets anyone flush pending fees to recipients.
- Creator role can be handed over with a two-step transfer and accept.
- Swap behaviour
- Before and after each swap the hook can take a fee portion of the swap amount through return deltas and records volume and timestamp. The fee rate appears to be a fixed constant, but its exact value cannot be confirmed from bytecode.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
- Fee behaviour
- A fixed hook fee (constant FEE_BPS, value unknown from bytecode) is taken from swaps and credited to creator, platform and holders according to constant split ratios and a platform cut fixed at initialization. Accrued amounts are claimable by the creator and platform or flushed to the treasury.
- Owner & admin controls
- No owner can change fees after setup; the fee and splits look like constants and the platform cut is set once at initialize. The creator can only transfer the creator role and claim its own accrued fees.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: binds the hook to one pool and token; beforeSwap: can take fee from swap input and update stats; afterSwap: can take fee from output and record volume; beforeSwapReturnDelta/afterSwapReturnDelta: allow the hook to deduct its fee from swap amounts.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: The creator and platform recipients can claim accrued fees and the creator can transfer its role; no visible function lets anyone change fee rates or pause swaps.
Risk to user funds: The hook takes a fixed fee slice of swap amounts (exact percentage unknown from bytecode) and holds it as owed fees until claimed. LP principal is untouched and withdrawals are unrestricted.
Security findings
- [low] Fee value unverified: The hook deducts a swap fee via return deltas, but the exact FEE_BPS value cannot be confirmed from bytecode; it appears constant rather than admin-adjustable.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook can never block or charge LP withdrawals.
- [info] Not upgradeable: Direct contract with no proxy; the creator role only controls fee claiming.
