What it does
This immutable hook for the USDC/STRK pool charges buyers of STRK a 3% LP fee and sellers of STRK a 1% LP fee, with all fees going to LPs and withdrawals always open.
How it works step by step
- Only works with a USDC/STRK pool on Ethereum; any other pool fails to initialize.
- Sets the LP fee per swap based only on trade direction.
- Buying STRK with USDC pays a 3% LP fee; selling STRK for USDC pays a 1% LP fee.
- All fees go to the pool's liquidity providers through Uniswap's normal fee mechanism; the hook never holds or moves tokens.
- No owner, no settings, no upgrades: the fees are fixed forever.
- Swap behaviour
- Before each swap the hook sets the LP fee: 3% when swapping USDC for STRK and 1% when swapping STRK for USDC. It ignores the sender, trade size and exact-in versus exact-out, and it adds no other charges or restrictions.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
- Fee behaviour
- The LP fee is fixed at 3% for USDC-to-STRK swaps and 1% for STRK-to-USDC swaps. All of it is earned by the pool's liquidity providers.
- Owner & admin controls
- No admin controls found.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
afterInitialize, beforeSwap
afterInitialize: rejects any pool that is not USDC/STRK or not set to dynamic fees; beforeSwap: applies the 3% or 1% fee depending on swap direction.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: low (verified source, high confidence).
Who controls it: No one holds privileged keys. The contract cannot be changed after deployment.
Risk to user funds: The hook never touches user or LP funds; it only sets a fixed LP fee of 1% or 3% that goes to LPs. LP principal cannot be locked or drained.
Security findings
- [info] Fixed, immutable fees: Fees are hard-coded at 3% and 1%, with no owner, setters, storage or proxy, so nobody can change them.
- [info] Unrestricted LP withdrawals: Remove-liquidity callbacks and all return-delta permissions are disabled, so the hook cannot block withdrawals or take tokens from swaps.
- [info] Hook itself is unaudited: The developer states this hook is unaudited, though it is small and built on OpenZeppelin's base fee-override hook.
