What it does

This is a launch-pool hook that charges every buy and sell a fixed fee of 0.30% to 10.30% in ETH, paid to the platform and creator. In the first 30 seconds, non-exempt buys pay much more, starting near 99% and falling to the normal rate, and for 5 minutes each buyer is capped at 2% of supply, while LPs can always withdraw freely.

This read was written for the hook 0x4964…60cc on Robinhood Chain and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.

How it works step by step

  • Runs a single native ETH / launch-token pool with a fixed 0.30% platform fee plus a creator fee (each side capped at 10%) taken in ETH on every buy and sell.
  • For the first 30 seconds after trading starts, buys pay an extra opening tax: the total buy fee starts at 99% and falls linearly to the normal fee. This tax goes to the platform treasury. The developer and up to 6 preset wallets are exempt.
  • For the first 5 minutes, each buyer can receive at most 2% of the token supply in total, and buys must go through a fixed router.
  • Fees are held as claims in immutable vaults and can only be paid out to the fixed platform treasury and the creator recipient.
  • Only a designated initializer can create the pool, at a preset starting price; there are no owner setters or upgrade paths.
Swap behaviour
Every swap pays a fee in ETH: 0.30% to the platform plus the creator buy or sell rate (0% to 10%). Partial fills on ETH-specified swaps revert. In the first 30 seconds, non-exempt buys also pay a decaying opening tax that pushes the total fee to as much as 99%. In the first 5 minutes, buys must use the approved router and are capped at 2% of supply per buyer.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely. The LP fee is fixed at 0%, so LPs earn no swap fees.
Fee behaviour
The hook fee is 0.30% to the platform plus a creator fee set at deployment between 0% and 10%, which can differ for buys and sells. This makes 0.30% to 10.30% total, charged in ETH and rounded up. During the first 30 seconds of trading, buys also pay an opening tax paid to the platform treasury, so the total buy fee starts at 99% and falls linearly to the normal rate.
Owner & admin controls
No admin controls found. All fee rates, recipients and the protection module are set as unchangeable values at deployment.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

beforeInitialize: restricts pool creation to the initializer at a fixed price. beforeSwap: computes and takes the ETH fees and opening tax when ETH is the specified amount, and enforces router and buyer checks. afterSwap: takes the fees when ETH is the unspecified side and enforces the 2% per-buyer limit during the 5-minute protection window. beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta: let the hook deduct the fee amounts from swaps.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: low, estimated (decoded bytecode, high confidence).

Who controls it: No owner or admin key exists. The deployer fixed the creator rates (up to 10%), the exempt wallets and the recipients at deployment, and none of these can be changed afterward.

Risk to user funds: The hook deducts only swap fees in ETH: 0.30% to 10.30% normally, and up to 99% on non-exempt buys during the first 30 seconds. LP principal cannot be locked or drained.

Security findings

  • [medium] Up to 99% opening buy tax: For 30 seconds after the token starts trading, non-exempt buys pay a total fee that starts at 99% and decays linearly to the normal rate. This is a fixed, time-limited launch anti-sniping rule, not something an admin can change.
  • [low] Exempt wallets avoid the opening tax: The developer and up to 6 wallets fixed at deployment skip the opening tax. All buyers, including these wallets, are still limited to receiving 2% of supply each during the first 5 minutes.
  • [info] Immutable fees and recipients: Creator fees are capped at 10% per side and cannot be changed after deployment. The vaults pay out only to the fixed treasury and creator addresses.
  • [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook can never block LP withdrawals.
