What it does
A Launchport/ETH pool hook that takes a flat, immutable 2% of every swap's output (or input for exact-out) and sends it to the developer address.
How it works step by step
- Restricts the pool to ETH paired with the immutable lpToken in beforeInitialize.
- On each swap, identifies the unspecified currency and computes 2% of its amount.
- Calls poolManager.take to send the fee to the immutable developer address.
- Returns the fee as an afterSwap delta so the swap settlement reflects the take.
- Holds no user funds and has no admin, pause or upgrade functionality.
- Swap behaviour
- On every buy and sell in the LP/ETH pool, afterSwap takes 2% of the unspecified swap amount and sends it to the developer, returning that amount as a delta so traders receive 2% less.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks. Liquidity is seeded one-sided through the PositionManager outside the hook, and the developer holds the v4 LP NFT.
- Fee behaviour
- Takes a fixed 2% (FEE_BPS = 200 over BPS_DENOM = 10000) of the unspecified swap amount on every swap in the LP/ETH pool and sends it to the immutable developer address via poolManager.take; the fee is returned as a positive afterSwap delta so the trader receives less.
- Owner & admin controls
- No admin controls found. The developer address and lpToken are immutable constants set in the constructor; there is no owner, pause, upgrade proxy, or fee parameter setter. The developer address can only receive fees and cannot change the fee rate or hook behaviour.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, afterSwap, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: reverts unless the pool is an ETH/LP pair matching lpToken. afterSwap: computes and takes the 2% developer fee and returns it as a delta. afterSwapReturnDelta: allows the afterSwap hook to alter the swapper's settled amounts by the fee.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: low (verified source, high confidence).
Who controls it: The developer address has no privileged functions and cannot alter fees or pool state. Its only power is to receive the fee, so centralization risk is limited to the developer being the sole beneficiary of the 2% take.
Risk to user funds: The hook does not hold user funds; it takes a fixed 2% of each swap's unspecified amount and transfers it to the developer during the swap. It cannot block swaps (no pause) and has no way to move existing LP liquidity, which the developer holds as a v4 position NFT.
Security findings
- [info] Fixed 2% swap fee to developer: afterSwap takes 2% of the unspecified side of every swap and sends it to developer, reducing traders' output by that amount. The rate is a constant that cannot be changed.
- [info] Return-delta fee capture: The hook returns a positive int128 delta from afterSwap, which lets it take value from the swap settlement; this is an intended mechanism and is bounded by the constant fee rate.
- [info] Pool restriction enforced: beforeInitialize restricts pools to ETH paired with the immutable lpToken, so the hook cannot be attached to arbitrary pools.
- [low] Immutable fee recipient: The developer address is immutable and can receive fees without any on-chain rotation mechanism; if the key is lost, accrued fee flows are unaffected but no fee changes are possible.
