What it does
A launchpad hook that swaps Equipad project tokens against a reserve asset on a custom bonding curve through approved routers only, with fees and pauses controlled by an external market controller and normal liquidity provision disabled.
How it works step by step
- Replaces the normal Uniswap price curve with Equipad's own reserve (bonding) curve for each market pool.
- Buying sends the reserve asset into the market vault and newly minted project tokens are paid out; selling burns project tokens and pays the reserve asset out of the vault.
- Only routers approved by the market controller can swap, and only exact-input swaps are allowed.
- Blocks all normal liquidity adds, removals and donations; there are no conventional LP positions.
- Pool creation is limited to pools the factory registered for a market.
- Swap behaviour
- Each swap is fully handled by the hook: it takes the whole input, asks the external controller to mint or burn tokens and price the trade on the reserve curve, and returns the output, so the regular pool curve swaps nothing. Swaps revert if the router is not approved, if it is exact-output, or if the controller rejects the trade (for example when buys or the curve are paused).
- Liquidity behaviour
- Adding and removing liquidity always revert, because the pool holds no LP positions; the reserve lives in the market vault managed by the controller. No one can deposit, so no LP principal can be trapped.
- Fee behaviour
- The hook itself sets no Uniswap fee; buy and sell fees are computed in the external MarketController from per-market buy/sell fee settings split between creator, reserve, buyback and development. Exact fee caps are not visible in this hook's source.
- Owner & admin controls
- The hook has no owner, but it fully trusts the external MarketController, which decides approved routers, pricing, fees and pause flags (pause buys, pause curve, pause redemptions). The controller's admin powers and limits are not shown in this source.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeAddLiquidity, beforeRemoveLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeDonate, beforeSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: only allows factory-registered pools; beforeAddLiquidity: always reverts; beforeRemoveLiquidity: always reverts; beforeSwap: takes input and settles output via the controller's reserve curve; beforeSwapReturnDelta: replaces the swap amounts with the curve result; afterSwap: checks the normal curve did nothing; beforeDonate: always reverts.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium (verified source, medium confidence).
Who controls it: Whoever controls the MarketController can approve or remove routers, pause trading, and configure market parameters. The hook itself is immutable and not a proxy.
Risk to user funds: The hook moves each trader's full swap input into the vault or itself and pays out what the controller calculates; fee ranges are set in the controller and not verifiable here. There are no LP deposits, so no LP principal can be locked.
Security findings
- [medium] Swaps depend on an external controller: Pricing, fees, minting/burning and payouts are all decided by the MarketController, whose code and fee caps are not included here.
- [medium] Router allowlist and pauses: Only controller-approved routers can trade, and the controller can pause buys or curve sales; direct redemption is described as a separate path.
- [info] No LP positions: Liquidity add and remove always revert, so there is no LP principal in the pool to lock.
