What it does
This immutable token-tax hook charges fixed buy and sell fees of unverified size on swaps and passes them toward its linked token, while leaving LP deposits and withdrawals untouched.
How it works step by step
- Charges a fixed buy fee and a separate fixed sell fee on swaps involving its linked token (rates exposed as BUY_FEE_BPS and SELL_FEE_BPS constants).
- Takes the fee out of the swap amounts and moves it out of the pool manager.
- Calls back into the linked token contract on each swap (an onSwap notification), likely for token-side accounting or tax handling.
- Has a payClaim function that pays out amounts owed, reverting with PayFailed if the payment fails.
- Does not touch liquidity adds or withdrawals.
- Swap behaviour
- On each swap the hook applies a buy or sell fee to the swap amount through return deltas, takes that fee from the pool manager and notifies the linked token contract. The exact percentages are hard-coded constants that cannot be read from the bytecode summary.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
- Fee behaviour
- Fixed buy and sell fees set as constants in basis points. The exact rates and recipient cannot be confirmed from the decoded bytecode, though the take call and token callback suggest the fee goes to the token contract or its designated receiver.
- Owner & admin controls
- No admin controls found. There is no storage, and the fees are constants, so no owner can change them.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeSwap: computes and applies the fee before the swap; afterSwap: applies or settles the fee after the swap and notifies the token; beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta: let the hook deduct the fee from swap amounts.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: No owner or mutable storage exists in the hook, and the fees are immutable constants. Any trust needed lies in the linked token contract that receives the swap callbacks.
Risk to user funds: The hook can only take the fixed buy and sell fees from swap amounts, and their exact percentages are unverified. LP principal cannot be locked or drained by this hook.
Security findings
- [medium] Swap fee taken via return deltas: The hook can deduct buy and sell fees from swaps. The rates are fixed constants, but their exact values are unverified in the bytecode.
- [low] External token callback: Each swap calls onSwap on the linked token contract. If that contract reverts, swaps could fail, and its behaviour is outside this hook.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook can never block or tax LP withdrawals.
