What it does
A token launch hook that charges traders a swap tax which is highest right after launch and decays to a lower base rate, collecting it for distribution, while LPs remain free to withdraw.
How it works step by step
- Launches a token pool: the deployer opens the pool with a set starting tick and seeds liquidity through the Uniswap position manager.
- Charges a tax on swaps that starts high at launch and decays over time toward a lower base tax (exact percentages not readable from bytecode).
- Collects the tax as claim tokens held by the hook and tracks pending and total distributed tax.
- Anyone or the deployer can call distribute to send accrued tax out, and the deployer has a withdraw function.
- Swap behaviour
- Each swap pays a tax taken from the swap amounts via return deltas, with a higher launch tax that decays toward a base tax after trading opens. Exact rates and whether swaps are blocked before opening cannot be confirmed from bytecode.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely. The hook itself owns the initial LP position NFT it creates at launch.
- Fee behaviour
- Swaps pay a decaying tax (launch tax decaying to a base tax, exact basis points unknown) on top of the pool's LP fee; the tax accrues to the hook and is paid out through distribute.
- Owner & admin controls
- A deployer role can open the pool and appears able to withdraw funds held by the hook; no function to change tax rates was found, as rates appear to be constants.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize restricts pool creation to the hook's own setup; beforeSwap computes and takes the current tax; afterSwap takes tax on the output side and updates accounting; return-delta permissions let the hook deduct the tax from swap amounts.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: The deployer opens trading and can call withdraw on hook-held balances; tax rates appear fixed constants rather than admin-adjustable.
Risk to user funds: The hook takes a decaying tax from swap amounts (exact range unverified) and holds it until distributed or withdrawn. LP principal cannot be locked or drained by this hook.
Security findings
- [medium] Swap tax via return deltas: The hook deducts a launch tax that decays to a base tax from swaps; the constants exist but their exact values cannot be verified from bytecode.
- [low] Deployer withdraw function: A deployer-gated withdraw(address) exists, likely for collected tax or tokens held by the hook; it cannot touch LP funds in the PoolManager.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook can never block or charge LP withdrawals.
