What it does
This hook works only on native ETH pools and skims a fixed creator fee from every swap, and possibly from LP withdrawals, paying it to a creator address; the exact rate is unverified.
How it works step by step
- Only allows pools that use native ETH (initialization reverts otherwise).
- After each swap, takes a creator fee from the swap and sends it to a stored creator address.
- After liquidity removals, can also take a cut via the remove-liquidity return delta and send it to the creator.
- The current creator can hand the creator role to a new address.
- Exposes a fixed creator fee rate and a hard-coded maximum fee constant.
- Swap behaviour
- After each swap the hook takes a creator fee from the swap amount and transfers it to the creator address. The exact percentage is a constant that cannot be read from bytecode alone.
- Liquidity behaviour
- The hook runs after LP withdrawals and can deduct a portion of the withdrawn tokens for the creator. It has no before-remove callback, so it does not appear able to block withdrawals, but the size of any deduction is unverified.
- Fee behaviour
- A creator fee in basis points, bounded by a hard-coded maximum, is taken on swaps and possibly on liquidity removals and paid to the creator. The exact rate and cap are not decodable from bytecode.
- Owner & admin controls
- The creator can transfer the creator role with setCreator. No function to change the fee rate was found, so the fee appears fixed.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, afterRemoveLiquidity, afterSwap, afterSwapReturnDelta, afterRemoveLiquidityReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: restricts pools to native ETH pairs; afterSwap + afterSwapReturnDelta: takes the creator fee from swaps; afterRemoveLiquidity + afterRemoveLiquidityReturnDelta: can take a cut of LP withdrawals for the creator.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: A single creator address receives fees and can reassign the role. It cannot change fee rates.
Risk to user funds: The hook takes a fixed but unverified percentage from swaps and possibly LP withdrawals. It does not appear able to lock LP principal.
Security findings
- [medium] Fee on LP withdrawals: The hook can deduct tokens from LP withdrawals via the remove-liquidity return delta. The exact amount cannot be verified from bytecode.
- [info] Fixed creator swap fee: Swap fee rate appears constant, with a maximum constant present. There is no setter for the fee.
- [info] Creator role transferable: Only the current creator can change the fee recipient address.
