What it does
Charges a fixed, immutable buy and sell fee of up to 10% in ETH on each swap of PrivateFi launch tokens and sends all of it to token holders as rewards, with no LP fee and no admin ability to change fees.
How it works step by step
- Serves every PrivateFi ETH/token launch pool and charges a fixed buy fee and sell fee on each swap, always taken in ETH.
- Each pool's buy and sell fees are set once at registration, capped at 10% each, and can never be changed afterward.
- 100% of each fee is forwarded immediately to that token's rewards contract, which distributes the ETH to token holders; there is no platform share.
- The pool's LP fee is 0, so the hook fee is the only fee swappers pay.
- Pools can only be created through the registrar (the launch factory); outside pool initialization is rejected.
- Swap behaviour
- Buys (ETH to token) pay the pool's buy fee on the ETH input and exact-input sells pay the sell fee on the ETH output; each fee is fixed per pool at 0% to 10%. Exact-output sells are not supported and revert.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely from the hook's side, though launch liquidity itself is placed in a separate permanent locker contract.
- Fee behaviour
- Each pool has a fixed buy fee and sell fee between 0% and 10% of the ETH side of the trade, set at launch and immutable, with an LP fee of 0. All fee ETH goes to that token's rewards contract for holders.
- Owner & admin controls
- The registrar can register new pools with fees up to 10% and hand its role once, irreversibly, to the launch factory. No one can change an existing pool's fees or pause swaps.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize blocks anyone except the registry from creating pools; beforeSwap takes the fee on exact-input buys and rejects exact-output sells; afterSwap takes the fee on other trades and forwards fees to rewards; beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta let the hook deduct the fee from swap amounts.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: low (verified source, high confidence).
Who controls it: The registrar (eventually the launch factory) can only register new pools within the 10% cap; it cannot alter existing pools, pause trading, or take funds.
Risk to user funds: The hook only takes the per-pool fee of 0% to 10% of the ETH leg of each swap and forwards it entirely to the token's rewards contract. It cannot touch LP principal or block withdrawals.
Security findings
- [info] Fixed fees capped at 10%: Buy and sell fees are validated at or below 10% at registration and are never modifiable afterward.
- [info] Exact-output sells disabled: Sells specifying an exact ETH output revert; users must use exact-input sells.
- [info] No withdrawal hooks: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook cannot block or charge LP withdrawals.
