What it does

A token tax hook that takes a fixed buy and sell tax (rates unknown from bytecode) from every swap for dividend distribution and holds time-locked owner liquidity, while outside LPs can withdraw freely.

How it works step by step

  • Charges a buy tax and a sell tax on swaps in its token/USDC pool, with rates set by constants in the code (BUY_TAX_BIPS, SELL_TAX_BIPS).
  • Takes the tax out of swap amounts and appears to forward it to a dividend distribution function on the token contract.
  • Owns the pool's main liquidity position itself. The owner seeds it and can withdraw it only after a time lock expires, and can extend that lock.
  • Lets the owner collect LP trading fees earned by the hook-owned position.
  • Tracks the total tax collected.
Swap behaviour
On every swap the hook takes a buy or sell tax from the swap amounts using return deltas, then likely sends it on for dividend distribution. The exact tax rates are constants that could not be read from bytecode.
Liquidity behaviour
Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so outside LPs can always withdraw freely. The hook's own protocol liquidity is time-locked and can only be removed by the owner after the lock ends.
Fee behaviour
A fixed buy tax and a fixed sell tax, set as hard-coded constants of unknown size, are taken from swaps and routed to token holder dividends. The owner also collects LP fees from the hook-held position.
Owner & admin controls
The owner can seed the hook-owned liquidity, extend its lock, remove it after the lock expires, collect its LP fees, and transfer or renounce ownership. No function to change the tax rates was found, since they appear to be constants.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

beforeSwap: computes and takes the tax before execution; afterSwap: takes the tax on output and updates the running total; beforeSwapReturnDelta/afterSwapReturnDelta: let the hook deduct the tax from swap amounts.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).

Who controls it: A single owner controls the hook-owned liquidity position and its fees, and can pull that liquidity once the lock expires. There is no visible way for the owner to change tax rates.

Risk to user funds: Traders lose a fixed buy or sell tax on each swap, and the exact percentage is unknown from bytecode. LP principal of outside providers cannot be locked or drained by the hook.

Security findings

  • [medium] Swap tax with unverified rates: Buy and sell taxes are taken from swaps via return deltas. The rates are fixed constants, but their values cannot be confirmed without source code.
  • [low] Owner-controlled locked liquidity: The hook's own liquidity is locked until a timestamp the owner can only extend. After that, the owner can withdraw it, which could thin out the pool.
  • [info] Outside LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook cannot block or tax LP withdrawals.
