What it does
Gates swaps to a daily UTC session, charges a fixed 1% native-side fee only on HelioRouter swaps (public in-session and sync-bot swaps pay just the LP fee), and permanently locks all pool liquidity.
This read was written for the hook 0xbebb…eacc on Base and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.
How it works step by step
- Public swaps are allowed only during a fixed daily UTC trading session; outside it only the sync bot and the HelioRouter can swap.
- Every swap through the HelioRouter pays a 1% platform fee on the native-coin side, sent to a fixed fee recipient (the GasVault).
- Router swaps in a closed pool are blocked if the last price sync is too old or the price moves too far from the anchor price.
- Only the factory can create pools and add liquidity, and liquidity can never be removed. Launch liquidity is permanently locked; the factory can only collect LP fees.
- All addresses and parameters are set once at deployment and cannot be changed. There is no admin.
- Swap behaviour
- Outside the session, public swaps revert. Only the sync bot (no platform fee) and the router (exact-input only, 1% of the native leg taken) can trade, and closed-pool router swaps must pass freshness and price-deviation checks. In-session public swaps pay only the pool's LP fee.
- Liquidity behaviour
- Only the factory can add liquidity. Any removal of liquidity reverts, except a zero-amount fee-collection poke by the factory, so pool liquidity is permanently locked.
- Fee behaviour
- HelioRouter swaps pay a fixed 1% of the native-coin amount, taken from the input on buys and from the output on sells. It is held as PoolManager claims and flushed by anyone to the immutable fee recipient; all other swaps pay only the pool's LP fee.
- Owner & admin controls
- No admin controls found. The factory, router, sync bot and fee recipient are set once by the deployer and the parameters are immutable, though the sync bot can re-anchor the closed-pool reference price.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeAddLiquidity, beforeRemoveLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: only the factory can create pools, native must be currency0, and the opening price is recorded; beforeAddLiquidity: only the factory can add; beforeRemoveLiquidity: blocks all withdrawals except fee collection; beforeSwap: enforces the session gate and takes 1% from router buys; afterSwap: runs closed-pool price guards and takes 1% from router sell output; beforeSwapReturnDelta/afterSwapReturnDelta: let the hook deduct the 1% router fee.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: high (verified source, high confidence).
Who controls it: The deployer wires the factory, router, sync bot and fee recipient once, and these can never change. The sync bot controls closed-hours trading and the price anchor but cannot take funds.
Risk to user funds: Router swaps lose a fixed 1% of the native leg; other swaps pay only the LP fee. Liquidity in these pools can never be withdrawn, by design.
Security findings
- [high] LP liquidity permanently locked: beforeRemoveLiquidity reverts any nonzero removal, so liquidity added through the factory can never be withdrawn. Only fee collection is possible.
- [medium] Trading restricted outside session: Outside the fixed daily UTC window, public swaps revert. Only the immutable sync bot and router can trade.
- [info] Fixed 1% router fee: Router swaps pay a hard-coded 1% of the native leg to an immutable fee recipient. It cannot be changed.
- [info] Immutable, no admin: The contract is not a proxy and all roles are set once and cannot change.
