What it does
A token launch hook that seeds a pool, takes a burn or fee cut from swaps of unverified size, and lets an admin pause or gate traders, while LPs can always withdraw.
How it works step by step
- Creates and seeds a Uniswap v4 pool for a launched token paired with another token, using the hook's own liquidity functions.
- On swaps, can take a cut of the swap and burn part of the launched token, tracking a running total burned (a maximum burn fee constant exists but its value is not readable from bytecode).
- Runs several admin-set lists and switches (a lock/unlock flag, two toggles, address allowlists or blocklists, an exempt list) that are checked before each swap and can restrict who trades.
- Records referrer-style address links that are read after swaps, possibly for reward attribution.
- Exposes a token withdrawal function and many generic entry points (execute, multicall, relay, deposit, stake) whose exact gating cannot be confirmed.
- Swap behaviour
- Before and after each swap the hook checks several flags and address lists and may block or allow the trader, and it can deduct part of the swap amount through return deltas, apparently to burn tokens or collect a fee. The exact fee size and who can be blocked cannot be verified from bytecode.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No add or remove liquidity callbacks are enabled, so LPs in the pool can add and withdraw freely; the hook itself can add liquidity it seeds at launch.
- Fee behaviour
- Takes a swap fee or burn deduction capped by a MAX_BURN_FEE_BPS constant whose value is unknown from bytecode; burned amounts are tracked as total burned and other collected amounts may stay with the hook.
- Owner & admin controls
- A privileged account appears able to lock/unlock trading, flip trading toggles, edit address lists that gate swaps, set referral links, and withdraw tokens held by the hook. Exact caps and the identity of the admin cannot be confirmed from bytecode.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeSwap: checks lock flag, toggles and allow/deny lists and may deduct from the swap; afterSwap: updates burn accounting and referral data; beforeSwapReturnDelta: lets the hook take part of swap input; afterSwapReturnDelta: lets the hook take part of swap output.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, low confidence).
Who controls it: An unidentified admin can likely pause trading, maintain allow/deny lists, and withdraw tokens from the hook; it cannot block LP withdrawals.
Risk to user funds: The hook can deduct part of each swap up to an unverified burn fee cap and can move tokens it holds; LP principal in the pool cannot be locked or drained by the hook.
Security findings
- [medium] Trading can be paused or gated: Admin-written flags and address mappings are read in beforeSwap, so an admin can likely stop swaps or restrict specific traders, which could block selling.
- [medium] Swap deductions with unverified cap: Swap return deltas are enabled and a maximum burn fee constant exists, but its value cannot be read from bytecode.
- [low] Token withdrawal from hook: A withdrawToken function can move tokens held by the hook, such as collected fees or hook-owned liquidity proceeds; it cannot touch other LPs' pool positions.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook can never block LP withdrawals.
