What it does
An immutable gatekeeper that likely lets only one fixed address add liquidity, while traders swap at the pool's normal fee and LPs can always withdraw freely.
This read was written for the hook 0x3e47…4800 on Optimism and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.
How it works step by step
- Checks every attempt to add liquidity to pools that use this hook.
- Appears to allow only one approved liquidity provider address (exposed as 'lp') to add liquidity.
- Does not touch swaps at all, so traders swap normally at the pool's fee.
- Never runs on withdrawals, so existing LPs can always remove their liquidity.
- Very small, immutable contract with no storage and no admin functions.
- Swap behaviour
- No swap callbacks.
- Liquidity behaviour
- When liquidity is added, the hook runs a read-only check that likely rejects anyone other than the fixed 'lp' address. Removing liquidity is never intercepted, so LPs can always withdraw freely.
- Fee behaviour
- Uses the pool's static fee.
- Owner & admin controls
- No admin controls found; the LP address and pool manager appear fixed at deployment with no storage to change them.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeAddLiquidity
beforeAddLiquidity: read-only check that gates who can add liquidity, likely restricting it to a single fixed LP address.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: low, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: There is no owner or admin; the only privileged party is the fixed LP address set at deployment, which can only add liquidity.
Risk to user funds: The hook never holds or moves funds and charges no fee (0% beyond the pool fee). LP principal cannot be locked or drained by this hook.
Security findings
- [info] Liquidity deposits likely restricted to one address: The add-liquidity check is a view function paired with a fixed 'lp' address, so only that address can likely provide liquidity. This limits who can join but does not affect existing funds.
- [info] Withdrawals and swaps unaffected: Remove-liquidity and swap callbacks are disabled, so the hook cannot block withdrawals or take any fee from trades.
