What it does

Every buy and sell of a klik-launched token pays a fixed 1% fee in the pair currency (60% platform, 40% creator), with early buys capped per wallet to stop snipers, while LPs remain free to withdraw.

This read was written for the hook 0x9463…a0cc on Unichain and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.

How it works step by step

  • Charges a fixed 1% fee on every buy and sell of klik.finance launched tokens, taken from the pair-currency side of the trade.
  • Splits the fee 60% to the platform treasury and 40% to the token creator (routed via the launcher contract).
  • Blocks normal buys in the launch block and caps each wallet's buys (default $500) during the first few blocks to deter snipers.
  • Charges no fee in the launch block, where only the launcher's own dev buy is allowed.
  • Ignores pools whose token is not a recognized klik token, so they swap with no fee.
Swap behaviour
Buys (spending the pair currency) and sells of klik tokens pay 1% of the pair-currency amount, taken from the input on exact-input buys and from the output or input otherwise. Exact-output sells revert, and during the anti-snipe window (default 3 blocks) launch-block buys are blocked and per-wallet buys are capped in USD.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
Fee behaviour
A hard-coded 1% hook fee on the pair-currency side of every swap (0% in the launch block), split 0.60% to the platform treasury and 0.40% to the token creator; this is on top of the pool's normal LP fee and cannot be changed.
Owner & admin controls
The owner can change the platform treasury address, the launcher (factory) address, and the anti-snipe settings (on/off, window length in blocks, and per-wallet USD cap), and transfer ownership. The owner cannot change the 1% fee or its 60/40 split.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

beforeInitialize records the launch block; beforeSwap enforces anti-snipe rules, settles earlier fees and takes 1% on exact-input buys; afterSwap takes 1% of the pair amount on other trade types; beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta let the hook collect those fees from the swap amounts.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: low, estimated (decoded bytecode, high confidence).

Who controls it: A single owner key sets the treasury, factory and anti-snipe parameters. At worst they redirect fee payouts or extend buy caps on new pools; they cannot touch LP liquidity or change the 1% fee.

Risk to user funds: The hook takes exactly 1% of the pair-currency side of each swap (0% in the launch block) and holds only those fees. LP principal cannot be locked or drained since withdrawal callbacks are disabled.

Security findings

  • [info] Fixed 1% fee: The fee and split are constants; no one can raise them.
  • [low] Owner-tunable anti-snipe window: The owner can set the anti-snipe window length and USD cap without limits, which could restrict buys for a long time on newly launched pools; sells are never blocked by it.
  • [low] Factory address controls fee routing: The owner can change the factory, which decides which tokens are charged and receives creator fees; this redirects only the 0.40% creator share, not LP funds.
