What it does

Flaunch launchpad hook that charges every trade a swap fee of up to 10%, routing it to creators, a BidWall, the treasury and the protocol, while LPs can withdraw freely.

This read was written for the hook 0x54be…a5dc on Base and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.

How it works step by step

  • Launches new memecoins (Flaunch) into Uniswap v4 pools paired with an approved token such as ETH, flETH or flUSDC, seeding single-sided liquidity and an optional creator premine.
  • Charges a swap fee of up to 10% on each trade, with optional referrer cut, and splits collected fees among the token creator, a BidWall buy-support position, the token treasury and the protocol.
  • Runs an internal swap pool that fills trades from accumulated memecoin fees before they hit the Uniswap pool, converting fees into the paired token.
  • Blocks swaps until a scheduled launch time and prevents anyone else from creating pools with this hook.
  • Liquidity and donate callbacks only emit tracking events and notifications.
Swap behaviour
Swaps revert before a scheduled launch time; afterwards the hook may partially fill the trade from its fee inventory and takes a swap fee of 0% to 10% of the swap amount via return deltas. On pools launched as swap-guarded, the fee calculator can reject swaps.
Liquidity behaviour
After add and remove liquidity the hook only emits state-update events; it returns no liquidity deltas and cannot block or charge withdrawals, so LPs can withdraw freely.
Fee behaviour
Swap fee is set by a stored distribution or an optional fee calculator, hard-capped at 10% and lowerable by fee exemptions; part may go to a referrer, protocol share is capped at 10% of fees, and the rest goes to the creator, BidWall and treasury via fee escrows.
Owner & admin controls
The owner can change the fee calculator, global and per-pool fee distributions (swap fee capped at 10%, protocol share capped at 10%), the flaunch and initial-price contracts, and the referral escrow. The owner cannot raise fees above 10% or make non-guarded pools' swaps fail via the calculator.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, afterAddLiquidity, afterRemoveLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap, afterDonate, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

beforeInitialize: blocks outside pool creation; beforeSwap: launch schedule gate, internal fee-inventory fill, oracle update; afterSwap: takes swap fee and distributes fees; beforeSwapReturnDelta/afterSwapReturnDelta: apply internal fills and fee deductions; afterAddLiquidity/afterRemoveLiquidity/afterDonate: event tracking only.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: low, estimated (decoded bytecode, high confidence).

Who controls it: The Flaunch protocol owner can rotate the fee calculator and fee splits, but swap fees stay within 10% and non-guarded pools cannot be halted.

Risk to user funds: The hook takes 0% to 10% of each swap as fees and settles internal fills from its fee inventory; it cannot touch LP principal and LPs can withdraw freely.

Security findings

  • [info] Swap fee hard-capped at 10%: Both stored fees and calculator outputs are clamped to a maximum of 10% of the swap amount.
  • [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: The remove-liquidity callback only emits events and liquidity return deltas are disabled, so withdrawals cannot be blocked or taxed.
  • [low] Optional swap-guarded pools: Pools launched with a guarding fee calculator can have swaps rejected by that calculator; this is chosen at launch and frozen per pool.
