What it does

A token launchpad hook that charges every trader a fixed 1% to 3% tax in the paired tokenized stock, splitting it 20% to the platform and 80% to the creator and buy-and-burn, while LPs can withdraw freely.

This read was written for the hook 0x820f…60cc on Ethereum and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.

How it works step by step

  • Charges a creator-chosen trading tax of 1% to 3% on every swap of a launched token, always collected in the pool's pair token (a tokenized stock).
  • Splits each tax: 20% to the platform treasury and 80% to the creator side, which is divided at launch between the creator wallet and a buy-and-burn fund.
  • Only the launch factory can create pools for registered tokens; swaps by the factory (creator's first buy) and the burn engine are untaxed.
  • Records the pool price at the start of each block so the public buy-and-burn engine can refuse to trade if the price was pushed earlier in that block.
  • Payouts are pull-based: anyone can trigger creator, treasury, or burn payouts, and funds always go to the fixed recipients.
Swap behaviour
Each user swap pays a fixed tax of 1% to 3% (set once per token at launch) in the pair token, taken from the input on buys or from the output on sells. Swaps by the factory and burn engine are exempt, and no swaps are blocked.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
Fee behaviour
The pool LP fee is 0%; the hook takes a fixed 1% to 3% tax per swap in the pair token, split 20% to the platform treasury and 80% between the creator and buy-and-burn according to the creator's launch-time choice. The tax rate cannot be changed after registration.
Owner & admin controls
The owner can only set the factory and engine addresses once each, then renounce ownership; tax rates are hard-capped at 3% and fixed per token. Creators can only change their own payout address.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

beforeInitialize: only lets the factory create pools for registered token/pair combos; beforeSwap: records the block reference price and takes tax when the pair token is the specified amount; afterSwap: takes tax when the pair token is the unspecified amount; beforeSwapReturnDelta/afterSwapReturnDelta: let the hook deduct the tax from the swap.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: low, estimated (decoded bytecode, high confidence).

Who controls it: The owner can set the factory and engine once each and then renounce; no one can change tax rates, pause trading, or redirect treasury funds beyond the factory's treasury address.

Risk to user funds: The hook takes only the 1% to 3% tax from swaps and holds it until claimed by the creator, treasury, or burn engine. It cannot touch LP principal, and LP withdrawals are unrestricted.

Security findings

  • [info] Hard-capped fixed tax: Tax is between 1% and 3%, set once at registration and never changeable by anyone.
  • [info] Unrestricted LP withdrawals: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook can never block or charge LP withdrawals.
  • [info] Exempt privileged swappers: The factory and engine addresses swap without tax; these are set once and cannot be changed.
