What it does
OnBeat launchpad hook that takes a fixed per-coin fee of up to 6% from the native side of every buy and sell for the creator and protocol, while the factory's own trades pay nothing and LPs withdraw freely.
This read was written for the hook 0x767f…e0cc on Robinhood Chain and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.
How it works step by step
- Charges a fixed per-coin fee on every swap in OnBeat launch pools, always taken from the native (ETH) side of the trade.
- Each coin's fee is set once by the OnBeat factory at launch, capped at 6% (up to 5% creator tax plus 1% protocol), and can never change afterwards.
- Fees are held as PoolManager claims on native and credited to each coin, then released to the factory for distribution.
- Only the factory can create pools with this hook; the factory's own arbitrage and buyback swaps pay no fee.
- Never runs on liquidity changes, so LPs can add and withdraw freely.
- Swap behaviour
- On buys the fee comes off the native paid in, and on sells it comes off the native paid out, for both exact-input and exact-output trades. Regular traders pay the coin's fixed fee of up to 6%, while the factory's own swaps that pass special hook data are fee-free.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
- Fee behaviour
- Each coin has a fixed fee between above 0% and at most 6% of the native leg (creator tax up to 5% plus 1% protocol), set once at registration and immutable. Fees accrue as native claims to the hook per coin and are released only to the factory, which can burn the claims as the hook's operator.
- Owner & admin controls
- The owner can bind the factory address once; the factory can register each coin's fee once (max 6%), release accrued fees, and swap fee-free. No pause, fee increase, or withdrawal controls exist.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize restricts pool creation to the factory; beforeSwap takes the fee for exact-native buys and exact-native-output sells; afterSwap takes the fee for the other two trade types; beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta apply the fee to the trader's native amounts.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: low, estimated (decoded bytecode, high confidence).
Who controls it: The deployer owner binds the factory once, and the factory registers fees (max 6%), collects all accrued fees, and trades fee-free. Nobody can raise fees after launch, pause swaps, or block withdrawals.
Risk to user funds: The hook takes at most 6% of each trade's native leg as a fee; it cannot touch LP principal and LP withdrawals are unrestricted.
Security findings
- [info] Fee hard-capped and fixed per coin: Each coin's fee is set once and cannot exceed 6% of the native leg, enforced in the hook itself.
- [info] Factory trades fee-free: The factory's own swaps with non-empty hook data pay no fee, giving its arbitrage and buyback bot a cost advantage over other traders.
- [info] Factory controls accrued fee claims: The factory is the hook's claim operator and receives all accrued fees; this only covers collected fees, not LP principal.
