What it does

Applies owner-configured dynamic swap fees and whitelist gating on pool creation and deposits, while LPs can always withdraw freely.

How it works step by step

  • Registers pools at creation and assigns each pool a fee configuration taken from an owner-set default.
  • Checks a whitelist when pools are created and when liquidity is added, so only approved addresses may be able to do these actions.
  • Sets a dynamic swap fee on each swap from the pool's stored fee settings and counts swaps per pool.
  • Lets the owner update default fee settings, per-pool configs, and the whitelist.
Swap behaviour
Before each swap the hook looks up the pool's fee config and likely applies a dynamic fee override. It also increments a per-pool swap counter. It cannot take tokens from swaps directly.
Liquidity behaviour
Adding liquidity runs a check that appears to require the provider (or router) to be whitelisted. Withdrawals never call the hook, so LPs can always remove liquidity.
Fee behaviour
Swap fees are dynamic, chosen from stored per-pool fee parameters (several fee tiers plus weights) that the owner can change. Exact minimum and maximum fees cannot be confirmed from bytecode. Fees go to LPs through the normal pool fee mechanism.
Owner & admin controls
The owner (two-step ownership transfer) can set default fee parameters, update pool fee configs, manage whitelists, and set a list of addresses (likely signers). No hard fee cap is visible from bytecode.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, beforeAddLiquidity, beforeSwap

beforeInitialize: registers the pool and its fee config, possibly gated by whitelist; beforeAddLiquidity: gates who can add liquidity; beforeSwap: sets the dynamic fee and counts swaps.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).

Who controls it: A single owner controls fee settings and the whitelist. The worst they can do is raise swap fees to an unverified level or stop new deposits.

Risk to user funds: The hook holds no funds and cannot deduct tokens via deltas; it only influences the swap fee rate, whose upper bound is unverified. LP principal cannot be locked or drained.

Security findings

  • [medium] Owner-adjustable swap fees: The owner can change fee parameters used in beforeSwap, and no maximum fee could be verified from bytecode alone.
  • [low] Whitelist gating on pool creation and deposits: Pool creation and adding liquidity appear to require whitelisted addresses controlled by the owner.
  • [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks and all return deltas are disabled, so the hook cannot block withdrawals or take tokens.
