What it does

A fixed-fee launch hook for block-zero token pools that takes a 2% fee on WETH-side swaps for the token's fee-share contract and locks the initial liquidity permanently.

How it works step by step

  • Accepts pool initialization only from the factory and only for registered token and fee-share pairs, snapshotting their metadata.
  • Requires the initial liquidity to be added by the position manager once, within the exact launch tick range, with hookData naming the token.
  • Charges a 2% fee on WETH-side flow on every swap and routes it to the creator fee-share contract as ERC-6909 claims and depositClaim calls.
  • Rejects exact-output swaps and swaps in pools that were not officially snapshotted.
  • Blocks every liquidity removal so the seeded position is locked permanently.
Swap behaviour
Exact-output swaps revert. On swaps where WETH is the input, the hook takes 2% of the input as a beforeSwap return delta and mints that amount to the fee-share contract. On swaps where WETH is the output, the hook takes 2% of the output as an afterSwap return delta with the same destination. Swaps in pools not snapshotted by the factory revert.
Liquidity behaviour
Only the position manager may add liquidity, and only once per pool: the first add must use the exact launch tick range (token-dependent) and a positive liquidity delta at most uint128 max, with hookData equal to the token address. Afterwards liquiditySeeded blocks any further additions. All removals revert with LiquidityLocked, so seeded liquidity cannot be withdrawn through this hook.
Fee behaviour
Charges a fixed 2% (200 bps) hook fee on the WETH side of every swap. On WETH-in swaps the fee is taken in beforeSwap as a positive return delta on the unspecified currency, and on token-in swaps (WETH output) the fee is taken in afterSwap as an afterSwap return delta. Fees are minted as ERC-6909 claims to the pool manager for the creator fee-share contract and deposited via depositClaim, and the pool's own static fee is 0.
Owner & admin controls
No admin controls found. The hook has no owner, pause, upgrade or parameter-setter functions. Pool registration is gated by the immutable factory address, and the fee rate FEE_BPS is a constant of 200 bps.

beforeInitialize restricts pool creation to the factory and snapshots token and fee-share metadata; beforeAddLiquidity enforces the one-time seeding by the position manager within the fixed range; beforeRemoveLiquidity always reverts to lock liquidity; beforeSwap rejects exact-output swaps, validates the pool and charges the 2% fee on WETH input via a return delta; afterSwap charges the same 2% fee on WETH output via a return delta; beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta enable those fee deltas.

Who controls it: No privileged role exists in the hook, so no key can change fees, pause swaps or drain funds. The factory is immutable and is the only party that can initialize pools, and its registry (getHookRegistration) determines which token and fee-share addresses are snapshotted, so the factory's integrity is the main trust assumption.

Risk to user funds: The hook takes return deltas that deduct 2% of WETH-side swap amounts and mints the claim to the fee-share contract, so it does hold claimable value transiently but cannot move funds to an admin. Seeded liquidity cannot be removed and no function allows arbitrary token transfers. Users can be blocked from swapping only if the factory or pool state is invalid, since the hook has no pause.
