What it does
An ownerless, immutable token-plus-hook where every buy and sell in its ETH pool pays a fixed 1% ETH levy, split among four preset payees, while LPs withdraw freely.
How it works step by step
- The hook is also an ERC-20 token (Piggle) with a fixed supply of 10 billion, minted once to its launcher (the Spout), which seeds the only pool it will ever serve: ETH / Piggle with 0% LP fee.
- Every swap in that pool pays a 1% levy on the ETH side of the trade, both on buys and on sells.
- The levy is held as an ETH claim inside the Uniswap PoolManager and split into four pockets: income 40%, community 40%, shared 10%, platform 10% (plus rounding dust).
- Only each pocket's fixed payee can withdraw that pocket's ETH. There is no owner, no pause, no blocklist and no tax on plain token transfers.
- Swap behaviour
- Each swap pays a 1% levy on its ETH amount. On exact-ETH trades it is taken before the swap, and the hook reverts the trade if the pool fill does not match. On exact-token trades it is added to what a buyer pays or deducted from what a seller receives. Only the home pool can be used, and only the Spout can initialize it, once.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
- Fee behaviour
- A fixed 1% levy (rounded up) is charged on the ETH leg of every buy and sell, on top of a 0% pool LP fee. It is split 40% income, 40% community, 10% shared and 10% platform among four payees set at launch.
- Owner & admin controls
- No admin controls found. The owner is permanently the zero address; payees are fixed at launch and can only withdraw their own accrued pocket.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize restricts the pool to the single home pool, opened once by the Spout; beforeSwap takes the 1% levy up front on exact-ETH trades; afterSwap takes the levy on exact-token trades and checks that up-front trades filled fully; the swap return-delta permissions let the hook move the levy amount out of the swap.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: low (verified source, high confidence).
Who controls it: No one holds admin keys. The four payees fixed at launch can only withdraw their own share of accrued levies.
Risk to user funds: The hook takes exactly 1% of the ETH side of each swap and nothing more. It cannot touch LP principal, and LPs can withdraw freely.
Security findings
- [info] Fixed 1% swap levy: The levy is hard-coded at 1% of the ETH leg, with fixed split ratios, and cannot be changed by anyone.
- [info] Immutable, no owner: The contract is not a proxy, has no pause, no allowlist and no transfer tax; owner() always returns zero.
- [info] Unrestricted LP withdrawals: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook can never block or charge LP withdrawals.
