What it does
Every swap pays an extra admin-adjustable fee (capped by a coded maximum) that goes to a treasury, while LPs can add and withdraw liquidity freely.
How it works step by step
- Charges a protocol fee on each swap, taken from the swap output after the trade executes.
- Records the collected fees per token as treasury revenue inside the hook's accounting.
- Lets a collector role withdraw accrued treasury fees to the treasury address.
- Lets governance set the fee rate (bounded by a hard-coded maximum) and pause or resume fee collection.
- Restricts pool setup to a single preconfigured pool and starting price.
- Swap behaviour
- After each swap the hook takes a percentage of the swap amount as a fee and accrues it to the treasury, so traders receive slightly less. If fees are paused, swaps proceed without the extra fee.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
- Fee behaviour
- An extra hook fee set in basis points is deducted from swaps on top of the pool fee, capped by a hard-coded maximum whose exact value cannot be read from bytecode. Fees accrue to a treasury address and are withdrawn by a collector role.
- Owner & admin controls
- Role holders (governance/admin) can change the fee rate up to a coded maximum, pause and resume fee collection, and change the treasury address; a collector role can withdraw accrued fees. The exact maximum fee is not verifiable from bytecode.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, afterSwap, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: restricts initialization to the configured pool and price; afterSwap: computes and accrues the treasury fee; afterSwapReturnDelta: deducts that fee from the swap amount.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: Addresses holding admin, governance and collector roles control the fee rate, treasury address and fee withdrawals. They cannot touch LP principal.
Risk to user funds: The hook takes a fee from swap amounts up to an unverified coded maximum; collected fees are withdrawn to the treasury. LP principal cannot be locked or drained by the hook.
Security findings
- [low] Adjustable swap fee with unverified cap: Governance can set the hook fee up to a hard-coded maximum enforced by an InvalidFee check, but the cap value is not visible without source.
- [info] Fee pause only disables fees: Pausing stops fee collection rather than blocking swaps.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook cannot block or charge LP withdrawals.
