What it does
An ownerless hook for stock/USDG pools that charges 0.05% in calm times and 1.00% when an AI-agent oracle reports material news, pauses swaps briefly during reported trading halts, and takes a 0.02% USDG cut per swap to fund those oracle questions while LPs can always withdraw.
How it works step by step
- Works only with tokenized stock / USDG dynamic-fee pools and sets the LP fee based on a regime decided by an external AI-agent oracle.
- Calm regime charges a 0.05% LP fee; a settled YES answer on a news question raises it to 1.00% for about 2 hours.
- A settled YES answer on a halt question pauses swaps for about 30 minutes; liquidity can still be added or removed.
- Takes 0.02% of the USDG side of every swap into a per-pool bounty budget that pays for future oracle questions.
- There is no owner; anyone can ask questions (paid from budget or by the caller), push settled answers, or fund the budget.
- Swap behaviour
- Each swap pays a 0.05% LP fee in calm times or 1.00% during a news regime, plus a 0.02% cut of the USDG amount kept by the hook for the oracle bounty budget. Swaps revert while a halt regime is active (up to about 38 minutes per YES answer, extendable by further YES answers).
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely, even during a halt.
- Fee behaviour
- LP fee is 0.05% (calm) or 1.00% (news), going to LPs, switched only by settled oracle answers that expire on their own. Separately 0.02% of the USDG side of each swap goes to the hook's bounty budget, used only to pay oracle question bounties.
- Owner & admin controls
- No admin controls found. Fee levels, cut, and durations are hard-coded constants; regimes change only via settled answers from the fixed oracle contract.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: only accepts dynamic-fee USDG pairs and registers them; beforeSwap: blocks swaps when halted, sets the fee, and takes the 0.02% cut when USDG is the specified amount; afterSwap: records volume and takes the 0.02% cut when USDG is the unspecified side; beforeSwapReturnDelta/afterSwapReturnDelta: charge that 0.02% cut to the swapper.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: low (verified source, high confidence).
Who controls it: No owner or admin keys exist. The main trust is in the immutable external oracle and its agent committee, whose answers can raise the fee to 1% or pause swaps temporarily.
Risk to user funds: The hook only takes 0.02% of the USDG side of each swap, on top of a 0.05%–1.00% LP fee. LP principal stays in the PoolManager and cannot be locked or drained.
Security findings
- [low] Oracle-driven swap pauses: A YES answer from the external oracle's agent committee halts swaps for roughly 30 minutes past settlement, renewable by repeated YES answers; LP withdrawals are never affected.
- [info] Fixed, bounded fees: LP fee is either 0.05% or 1.00% and the hook cut is fixed at 0.02% of the USDG side; nothing can raise them.
- [info] Bounty budget held by hook: Collected USDG cuts sit in the hook and can only be spent on oracle question bounties; there is no withdraw function.
