What it does
A launch-token hook that takes owner-set buy and sell fees from swap output for a dev wallet and can cap swap sizes during launch, while LPs can freely add and remove liquidity.
This read was written for the hook 0xf91f…e044 on Robinhood Chain and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.
How it works step by step
- Charges a separate buy fee and sell fee on swaps of a specific token against a quote token, taken from the swap output.
- Sends collected fees to a developer wallet set by the owner.
- Can enforce a maximum quote-token amount per swap (anti-whale limit) during launch, with owner-managed exemptions.
- Owner can permanently remove limits; LP deposits and withdrawals are not touched by the hook.
- Swap behaviour
- After each swap the hook takes a buy or sell fee from the swap output and sends it to the dev wallet, and while limits are enabled it may reject swaps above a maximum quote amount unless the trader is exempt. Exact fee and limit values cannot be confirmed from bytecode.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
- Fee behaviour
- Separate buy and sell fees in basis points, set by the owner and apparently bounded by a hard-coded MAX_FEE_BPS constant whose value is not visible in decoded data; fees go to the dev wallet.
- Owner & admin controls
- The owner can set buy and sell fees (capped by MAX_FEE_BPS, value unverified), change the dev wallet, set per-address limit exemptions, change the max quote per swap, remove limits, and transfer ownership.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, afterSwap, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: validates the pool setup (likely token/quote pair); afterSwap: applies fees and per-swap limits; afterSwapReturnDelta: deducts the fee from swap output and takes it to the dev wallet.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: A single owner controls fees, the fee recipient, swap limits, and exemptions. The worst case is raising fees up to the unverified MAX_FEE_BPS cap or restricting swap sizes for non-exempt traders.
Risk to user funds: The hook takes a percentage of swap output as buy/sell fees up to an unverified maximum; it cannot touch LP principal and LP withdrawals are unrestricted.
Security findings
- [medium] Owner-adjustable buy/sell fees: The owner can change buy and sell fees at any time; a MAX_FEE_BPS cap exists but its value cannot be verified from bytecode.
- [low] Swap size limits with exemptions: While limits are on, swaps over a max quote amount may revert for non-exempt traders; the owner controls exemptions and can disable limits.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook cannot block or charge LP withdrawals.
