What it does
Launchpad hook that charges every trader in registered pools a fixed, hard-coded swap fee, splits it between the token creator and a dev wallet for later claiming, and never touches LP withdrawals.
This read was written for the hook 0xb58c…40cc on Robinhood Chain and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.
How it works step by step
- Charges a fixed fee on every swap in pools registered by a launchpad contract.
- Splits the collected fee between the token creator of each pool and a dev wallet.
- Tracks each recipient's unclaimed fee balance so they can withdraw it later with a claim function.
- Lets the launchpad register pools and their creators. The exact fee and split constants could not be read from bytecode.
- Swap behaviour
- On each swap, the hook takes a fixed fee from the swap amount using return deltas and pulls it from the pool manager. It credits the fee to the pool's creator and the dev wallet as claimable balances. The exact fee size is a hard-coded constant that could not be confirmed from bytecode.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
- Fee behaviour
- A fixed swap fee set by a hard-coded constant is charged on swaps. It is split between the pool creator, using a hard-coded creator share, and the dev wallet. The exact percentages are not visible in the decoded data, but they appear to be constants rather than adjustable settings.
- Owner & admin controls
- A launchpad address can register pools and assign creators. Whoever controls the launchpad-setting function can change the launchpad address. No function to change the fee rate was found.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeSwap: computes and takes the fee on the input side; afterSwap: computes and takes the fee on the output side; beforeSwapReturnDelta/afterSwapReturnDelta: let the hook deduct the fee from swap amounts.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: A launchpad contract, plus whoever can call setLaunchpad, controls pool registration and creator assignment. No adjustable fee setter was found.
Risk to user funds: The hook takes only the fixed swap fee from traders, at an exact rate that is unverified, and holds it as claimable balances. LP principal cannot be locked or drained.
Security findings
- [low] Swap fee taken via return deltas: The hook deducts a constant fee from swaps and holds it for creators and the dev wallet to claim. The exact rate could not be verified from unverified bytecode.
- [low] Launchpad address is changeable: The setLaunchpad function can change which contract registers pools and creators. Its access rules could not be fully confirmed from bytecode.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: The remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook can never block or charge LP withdrawals.
