What it does
A launchpad token that acts as its own pool hook, charging every swap the same fixed fee (exact rate unverified) that accrues for the creator to withdraw, while LPs can withdraw freely.
This read was written for the hook 0x891b…20cc on Robinhood Chain and reused here: the two run the same code.
How it works step by step
- Acts as both a launchpad ERC-20 token (fixed supply, name, symbol, social links and profile metadata) and the Uniswap v4 hook for its own pool.
- Takes a fee on each swap through return deltas and records it as accrued fees inside the hook.
- Lets the accrued fees be withdrawn through a withdraw-all function, apparently to the creator.
- Runs a one-time setup when the pool is initialized, gated to the launcher, and blocks opening a second pool.
- Swap behaviour
- On every swap the hook takes a fee, set by a stored fee rate whose exact value and cap cannot be read from bytecode, and pulls it from the PoolManager to the hook. There are no visible trader allowlists or pause switches.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks are enabled, so LPs can add and withdraw freely. The hook is never called on withdrawals.
- Fee behaviour
- A basis-point swap fee is charged via return deltas and accrued in the hook for later withdrawal, likely by the creator. The exact percentage and any cap are unknown from bytecode.
- Owner & admin controls
- No fee-setting functions are visible, so the fee rate appears fixed at deployment. A withdraw-all function sends accrued fees to a stored recipient, likely the creator.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: one-time launcher-only pool setup that prevents re-opening; beforeSwap/afterSwap: compute and record the swap fee; beforeSwapReturnDelta/afterSwapReturnDelta: deduct the fee from swap amounts and take it from the PoolManager.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: A launcher controls pool setup and a creator or owner can withdraw accrued fees. No functions to change fees, pause swaps, or gate traders were found.
Risk to user funds: The hook can take a fee from each swap at a fixed but unverified rate, holding only those accrued fees. LP principal stays in the PoolManager and cannot be locked or drained by the hook.
Security findings
- [medium] Unverified swap fee via return deltas: The hook deducts a fee from swaps using return deltas, but the exact fee rate and cap cannot be confirmed from bytecode alone.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled in the address, so the hook cannot block or charge LP withdrawals.
- [info] No upgrade path: This is a direct contract, not a proxy, and no fee setter functions are visible.
