What it does

This launchpad hook charges buy and sell fees on swaps (higher during an early sniper window) and sends part of those fees to platform, creator and reserve accounts instead of only to liquidity providers.

How it works step by step

  • Launch function (0xd587ae66) creates a new token market and pool, storing per-token state in a mapping keyed by token address.
  • beforeInitialize hook gates pool creation so only pools configured by the launch flow are accepted.
  • beforeSwap and afterSwap apply a buy/sell fee schedule with a sniper fee that is read from on-chain state (sniperFeeNow, buyFeeFor, sellFeeFor).
  • Fees and rewards accrue to a reserve, a platform account and a creator account, which can be claimed (claimPlatform, claimCreator, flushRewards).
  • Accrued fees can be used for buybacks (executeBuyback) and compounded into liquidity (compoundLiquidity), using the pool manager unlock/take flow (unlockCallback).
  • beforeAddLiquidity hook restricts liquidity addition, and the hook takes or returns currency deltas during swaps via beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta.
Swap behaviour
Swaps go through beforeSwap and afterSwap, which compute a buy or sell fee depending on direction, may apply a sniper fee in early trading, and take a portion of the swap as protocol, platform or reserve share via return deltas. Exact fee values and which direction pays more could not be confirmed from bytecode alone.
Liquidity behaviour
beforeAddLiquidity is enabled and can restrict who adds liquidity; liquidity can also be compounded into the pool by the hook through compoundLiquidity. No removal callback is enabled.
Fee behaviour
Fees are set by the hook through buyFeeFor, sellFeeFor and sniperFeeNow with a MAX_TOTAL_BUY_FEE cap; part of the fee is accrued to platform, creator and reserve accounts rather than only to LPs. Whether the fee is time-decaying or purely static could not be determined.
Owner & admin controls
Some functions (bindRouter, claimPlatform, executeBuyback, compoundLiquidity, flushRewards, claimCreator) are callable by addresses checked against stored owner or platform state; the exact roles and any pause or upgrade mechanism could not be confirmed from bytecode.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, beforeAddLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

beforeInitialize: validates pool creation. beforeAddLiquidity: gates liquidity additions. beforeSwap: computes dynamic buy/sell and sniper fees and sets return deltas. afterSwap: accrues fees and rewards and updates market state. beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta: let the hook take a share of swap amounts.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, low confidence).

Who controls it: A privileged account can likely bind the router, trigger buybacks and compounding, and claim platform or creator balances; any parameter change to fees or the sniper schedule would directly affect traders.

Risk to user funds: The hook holds accrued fee balances and can take a share of swap amounts through return deltas; it does not appear to block ordinary LP withdrawals from the pool manager, but swaps pay the hook's fee.

Security findings

  • [medium] Hook takes swap amounts via return deltas: beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta are enabled, so the hook can take currency from swaps before pool accounting; the share taken is set by fee logic on-chain.
  • [medium] Privileged fee and router configuration: bindRouter and fee-related views indicate a privileged account can influence routing and fee parameters, which could affect trader costs.
  • [low] Fee and reward distribution via unlock callback: unlockCallback is externally reachable and performs take and transfer calls; correct caller checks could not be verified without source.
  • [low] Buyback and compounding of accrued funds: executeBuyback and compoundLiquidity move accrued balances; the hook controls when these run, so accrued fees are held by the hook until claimed or used.
