What it does
This launch hook takes a fee from each swap, apparently higher during an initial launch window and lower afterward, and may cap swap size early on, while LPs keep full freedom to withdraw.
How it works step by step
- Binds itself to a single pool when it is first initialized, and only an approved initializer address can set up that pool.
- After each swap, takes a fee from the swap amount using its return-delta permission, routed toward a vault and/or a burn address.
- Appears to charge a higher launch fee during an initial launch window after the pool starts, then falls back to a lower base fee.
- Appears to enforce a maximum swap size measured in a USD stablecoin (USDG) while a cap is active, likely during the launch period.
- Swap behaviour
- After every swap the hook can take a fee from the swap amount and may reject swaps above a USD-denominated size cap while the cap is active. Exact fee levels and cap values are fixed in the bytecode as constants and cannot be read precisely without source.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
- Fee behaviour
- The fee appears to be a time-based launch fee (launchFeeBps) during a launch window, then a base fee (baseFeeBps), taken from swaps and sent to a vault and/or burned. The exact percentages are not verifiable from bytecode.
- Owner & admin controls
- No owner setter functions were found; fee rates, the window, the cap, the vault and the burn address appear to be fixed at deployment. An initializer address controls only pool setup.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, afterSwap, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: restricts pool creation to an approved initializer and records the pool and launch time; afterSwap: applies size cap checks and computes the fee; afterSwapReturnDelta: deducts the fee from the swap amount.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: No mutable admin functions were detected, and parameters appear immutable. The initializer only controls which pool is created.
Risk to user funds: Traders pay the hook's swap fee, whose exact rate cannot be verified, possibly higher during launch. LP principal cannot be locked or taken by the hook.
Security findings
- [low] Swap fee via return delta, unverified amount: The hook deducts a fee from swaps after they execute. The launch fee and base fee values could not be confirmed from unverified bytecode.
- [info] Launch-period swap size cap: Large swaps may be rejected while the USD-denominated cap is active, which appears to be limited to the launch window.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: The remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled in the hook address, so LPs can always withdraw.
