What it does

A fee-sharing hook that, after each swap, skims a configured share of the swap output and forwards it to a furnace address while tracking cumulative totals.

How it works step by step

  • Runs afterSwap on every swap in the pool it is attached to
  • Computes a share of the swap delta using shareBps
  • Returns a return delta so the hook is credited with that share
  • Transfers the captured tokens to the furnace address via take()
  • Accumulates totalTaken0 and totalTaken1 counters in storage
Swap behaviour
After each swap, the hook takes a shareBps portion of the swap delta via afterSwapReturnDelta and transfers it to the furnace, recording totalTaken0 or totalTaken1 depending on the currency.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks.
Fee behaviour
Does not change the pool's LP fee. After each swap it takes a portion of the swap delta (controlled by shareBps) and routes it to a furnace address, so the share is a post-swap skim rather than a swap fee override.
Owner & admin controls
No admin controls found. The decoded selectors show no owner, pause, upgrade or parameter-setter functions; furnace() and shareBps() are read-only views, so any configuration is fixed at deployment.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

afterSwap, afterSwapReturnDelta

afterSwap is used to run custom logic after every swap and to record the amounts taken; afterSwapReturnDelta lets the hook return a delta that is credited to it, which is how it captures a share of the swap output.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).

Who controls it: No privileged role was identified in the decoded functions, so centralization risk appears low, though the furnace address and shareBps value are fixed and cannot be verified without source.

Risk to user funds: The hook can hold and move a portion of each swap's output token by returning a delta and calling take() to send it to the furnace address. Traders receive less than the pool-only output by the shareBps fraction on each swap.

Security findings

  • [medium] Hook takes a share of swap proceeds: afterSwapReturnDelta is enabled, so the hook receives a currency delta on every swap and transfers it out via take(). This means the hook directly moves user swap proceeds.
  • [info] Cumulative taken-amount accounting: Storage slots 0 and 1 are written on every afterSwap and track totalTaken0 and totalTaken1, indicating cumulative accounting of captured funds.
  • [info] Unverified source limits analysis: No source is verified, so the exact routing of taken funds to the furnace and the rounding behaviour of shareBps cannot be confirmed from bytecode alone.
