What it does
This launchpad hook charges every swap a fixed fee plus a tax and splits it among the coin creator, a fee vault and token holders, while LPs can withdraw freely.
How it works step by step
- Charges a swap fee (FEE_BPS) and a token tax on swaps in registered launchpad coin pools, taken through swap return deltas.
- Splits collected fees between the coin creator (CREATOR_SHARE_BPS) and a fee vault; creators withdraw their share through claim().
- Tracks per-coin ETH trading volume and running totals of fees and tax.
- Collects a tax for token holders that is later sent out with flushHolders, and vault fees that are sent with flushVault.
- A migrator address registers coins to pools; pools can only initialize for registered coins.
- Swap behaviour
- On each swap the hook can take a fee and tax from the swap amounts and pull them from the PoolManager. The exact percentages are constants in bytecode and are not readable here, and the tax settings are read from an external taxConfig.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks are enabled, so LPs can add and withdraw freely and the hook cannot block withdrawals.
- Fee behaviour
- A fixed swap fee (FEE_BPS) plus a tax is charged, with the creator getting CREATOR_SHARE_BPS and the rest going to the fee vault and a holder pool. The exact rates cannot be confirmed from bytecode.
- Owner & admin controls
- The migrator role (set once, guarded by AlreadySet) registers coins to pools. No function for changing the fee was found, though the tax is read from an external config contract whose controls are unknown.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: allows only registered coin pools; beforeSwap: can take the fee or tax from the input side; afterSwap: takes the fee or tax from the output side and records accruals; beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta: let the hook change swap amounts to collect these charges.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: The migrator controls which coins get registered, and an external tax config may control the tax rates. Neither can touch LP principal.
Risk to user funds: The hook takes fee and tax amounts from swaps, at exact percentages unknown from bytecode, and holds accrued creator, vault and holder balances until they are claimed or flushed. LP principal cannot be locked or drained.
Security findings
- [medium] Unverified fee and tax rates: Swap return deltas take a fee and tax whose exact rates, including the externally sourced tax, cannot be verified from bytecode.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so LPs can always withdraw.
- [info] Fixed migrator: The migrator appears to be set only once and is used only to register coins.
