What it does

A shared hook for USDG-backed ticker tokens that lets only the wrapper manage liquidity, re-centres the price at $1 before each swap, charges every trade the same fixed 0.05% fee, and reverts trades that exceed inventory or circulation caps, partially fill, or break the price band or backing.

How it works step by step

  • One shared hook for 'invented ticker' tokens, each a 1:1 wrapper of USDG that runs its own token/USDG pool at a fixed 0.05% fee.
  • Only the wrapper token contract can create the pool, add liquidity or remove liquidity; outside LPs cannot provide liquidity in these pools.
  • Before each outside swap, the wrapper tops up its token inventory and re-centres the price at $1, paid from its own surplus.
  • After each swap it checks that the trade filled completely, the price stayed within about ±0.02% of $1, and USDG backing still covers circulating supply, otherwise the swap reverts.
  • Buys are capped by the inventory on offer, sells by circulating supply, and only one visit to the pool per transaction is allowed.
Swap behaviour
Swaps run as ordinary v4 swaps at the 0.05% pool fee, but the wrapper does maintenance first and then reverts the swap if it is a partial fill, pushes price outside roughly ±2 ticks of $1, exceeds inventory/circulation caps, or breaks solvency. Routes that cross the pool twice in one transaction are rejected.
Liquidity behaviour
Adding and removing liquidity is restricted to the wrapper contract itself during its own maintenance; any other address is reverted. There are no third-party LPs, so no outside LP funds can be trapped, and holders exit by redeeming 1:1 for USDG or selling into the pool.
Fee behaviour
Uses the pool's static 0.05% fee, which accrues to the wrapper's own positions and counts toward backing. The hook adds no extra fee.
Owner & admin controls
The immutable issuer address can only register a wrapper to a pool once; registrations cannot be changed. No fee, pause or withdrawal controls exist.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, beforeAddLiquidity, beforeRemoveLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap

beforeInitialize: only the wrapper may open the pool at $1; beforeAddLiquidity: only the wrapper may add while maintaining; beforeRemoveLiquidity: only the wrapper may remove while maintaining; beforeSwap: triggers inventory top-up, price re-centring and size caps; afterSwap: checks full fill, price band and backing.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: low (verified source, high confidence).

Who controls it: The immutable issuer can only bind a wrapper to its pool once. No one can pause, change fees or withdraw funds through the hook.

Risk to user funds: The hook holds no funds and takes no fee beyond the fixed 0.05% pool fee. Pool liquidity belongs solely to the wrapper; ticker holders rely on the wrapper's USDG backing and 1:1 redeem.

Security findings

  • [info] Liquidity restricted to the wrapper: Only the wrapper contract can add or remove liquidity, so these pools have no outside LPs; this is a design choice, not a lock on third-party funds.
  • [low] Swaps can revert on strict checks: Swaps fail if partially filled, if price leaves about ±0.02% of $1, if size exceeds inventory or circulation, or if backing would fall short.
  • [info] Immutable, no admin: Not a proxy; the issuer can only register each pool once and cannot change fees or move funds.
