What it does
This hook runs a swap-taxed, round-based game in which every trader pays an unverified tax that funds prize pots, referrals and token buyback-and-burns, while LPs can add and withdraw freely.
How it works step by step
- Runs a round-based on-chain game tied to one pool: buys earn points, and players compete for a 'king of the hill' or leader spot each round.
- Takes a tax on swaps (via return deltas) that funds a round prize pot, buyback reserves, and referral earnings.
- Uses an external randomness provider for dice or coin-flip features such as steals, shields and flips.
- Round winners can claim the pot within a claim window, and some claims require still holding the token; unclaimed pots can be swept or rolled over.
- An operator or owner can use the buyback reserves to buy back and burn the token, including for a separate host pool.
- Swap behaviour
- Each swap goes through beforeSwap and afterSwap, which can take a cut of the swap amounts as a tax and record points, referrals and leader status for the current round. Exact-output swaps appear to be rejected, and the exact tax rate cannot be confirmed from bytecode.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks are enabled, so LPs can add and withdraw freely and the hook cannot block or charge withdrawals.
- Fee behaviour
- A swap tax of unknown size is skimmed through return deltas and split among the round pot, burn and buyback reserves, rollover and referrers, using constants such as KING, FIRST, SECOND, THIRD, BURN and ROLLOVER shares. The exact percentages are not readable from bytecode.
- Owner & admin controls
- The owner can transfer ownership in two steps, set the operator, refund randomness requests and trigger buyback-and-burn from the reserves; the operator can also run buybacks. No fee-setting function was found, so the tax looks fixed, but its cap cannot be verified.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize binds the hook to its single pool and records the pool id; beforeSwap applies tax and game logic before the trade; afterSwap records buys and points and can take a fee from output; beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta let the hook deduct its tax from swap amounts.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, low confidence).
Who controls it: An owner and an operator control buybacks, the operator role and refunds of randomness requests. No fee setter or pause was found, but this could not be fully confirmed from bytecode.
Risk to user funds: The hook can take an unverified percentage of traders' swap amounts into pots and reserves that it holds for game payouts and buybacks. LP principal in the pool cannot be touched or locked.
Security findings
- [medium] Unverified swap tax via return deltas: The hook can deduct tokens from swaps through return deltas, but because the source is not verified the exact tax rate and its limits cannot be confirmed.
- [low] Admin-directed buyback reserves: The owner or operator decides when tax-funded reserves are used for buyback-and-burn, including swaps on a separate host pool.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: The remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled in the hook address, so LP principal cannot be locked or taxed by this hook.
