What it does
Every swap pays an extra owner-set protocol fee (capped by an unverified maximum) taken from the output and sent to a treasury, while LPs can add and withdraw freely.
How it works step by step
- After each swap, takes a per-pool protocol fee from the swap output and sends it to a treasury address.
- The owner sets the fee for each pool, up to a hard-coded maximum (MAX_PROTOCOL_FEE) whose exact value is not readable from the bytecode.
- The owner can change the treasury address that receives fees.
- Does not touch liquidity adds or withdrawals; LPs can withdraw freely.
- Swap behaviour
- After a swap, the hook can deduct a percentage of the swap output (set per pool, measured in basis points) and transfer it to the treasury. Swaps are not otherwise blocked or limited.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
- Fee behaviour
- Charges an owner-set protocol fee per pool on top of the pool's normal LP fee, taken from swap output and sent to the treasury. The fee is capped by a MAX_PROTOCOL_FEE constant whose exact value could not be confirmed from bytecode.
- Owner & admin controls
- The owner (two-step Ownable) can set the protocol fee for each pool up to MAX_PROTOCOL_FEE and change the treasury address. The exact cap is unknown from bytecode, though the fee is stored as a basis-point value (max possible 655.35% if uncapped, but a cap constant exists).
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
afterSwap, afterSwapReturnDelta
afterSwap: calculates the protocol fee after each trade; afterSwapReturnDelta: deducts that fee from the trader's output and takes it to the treasury.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: A single owner controls per-pool protocol fees and the treasury recipient. The worst case is raising fees up to the unverified maximum cap on traders.
Risk to user funds: The hook only takes a fee slice from swap outputs, limited by the unverified MAX_PROTOCOL_FEE cap. LP principal cannot be locked or drained.
Security findings
- [low] Owner-adjustable swap fee: The owner can change each pool's protocol fee, bounded by a MAX_PROTOCOL_FEE constant whose exact value could not be verified from bytecode.
- [info] Treasury address is changeable: The owner can redirect where collected fees go; zero address is rejected.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook cannot block or charge LP withdrawals.
