What it does

A tax-launch hook for coins paired with a non-ETH quote token that skims up to 5% per side in the quote token and splits it 20% to the platform and 80% to the creator, optionally routing a slice to holders.

How it works step by step

  • Skims a buy or sell tax in the pool's quote token from swaps via return deltas, capped at 5% per side.
  • Accrues the tax per pool and splits it 20% platform, 80% creator pool when distributed.
  • Routes an optional slice of the creator pool to a holder dividend tracker and pays the remainder to creator split recipients.
  • Books each recipient's share in a pull ledger and pays out on claim, converting to WETH via SwapRouter02 when a path is configured.
  • Optionally routes platform cuts to a referral sink snapshotted per pool when the pool is marked referred.
Swap behaviour
Swaps are taxed in the quote token: beforeSwap or afterSwap takes the buy or sell fee depending on which side the quote sits on, and the taken amount is returned as a delta. Auto-distribute may run inside afterSwap once accrued fees exceed a creator-set threshold.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks.
Fee behaviour
Buy and sell taxes (each capped at 5%, 10% round trip) are skimmed in the pool's quote token via beforeSwap or afterSwap return deltas. Of the tax, 20% is hardcoded to the platform and 80% goes to the creator pool, which is further split per configured recipients and may route a rewardsBps slice to holders. Fees are converted to WETH at claim when a path is configured, falling back to the raw quote token on failure. The pool's LP fee is fixed at 0.30%.
Owner & admin controls
Owner (two-step transfer) can set launchers, platform address, admin, referral splitter, swap config (WETH and router) and quote-to-WETH swap paths. Admin (set by owner, default owner) can reassign a pool's creator via setTokenCreator. Creator per pool can change buy/sell tax rates up to 5% per side, holder reward bps, auto-distribute threshold and creator split recipients. Upgrades are authorized by _authorizeUpgrade which unconditionally reverts with UpgradesFrozen, so the implementation cannot be upgraded. The source comments claim owner-only upgrades, but the deployed code freezes them.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

beforeInitialize: restricts pool creation to registered launchers and validates the pool shape with the coin on one side. beforeSwap: takes the quote-token tax when the quote is the specified currency. afterSwap: takes the tax when the quote is the unspecified currency and triggers optional in-swap auto-distribution. beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta: allow the hook to skim tokens from swaps by returning deltas.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: medium (verified source, high confidence).

Who controls it: The owner can change the platform address, the referral splitter, the swap router and WETH, and swap paths, which affects where fees are routed and whether claims convert to WETH. The owner can also set arbitrary launchers, enabling pool creation by new launchers. The admin can reassign any pool's creator and thus the creator fee stream. Creators can raise tax to 5% per side at any time and redirect splits. Upgrades are permanently frozen, so the logic cannot be changed later.

Risk to user funds: The hook holds accrued quote-token tax per pool until distribution and pays it to creators, platform, referrers and holders via a pull ledger. Traders bear up to 5% per side in tax, and fee conversion can produce sub-market WETH. Users with a claimable balance can always withdraw the quote token if conversion fails, but a malicious owner could alter routing or swap paths.

Security findings

  • [medium] Zero slippage protection on fee conversion: Claims convert quote fees via SwapRouter02 with amountOutMinimum=0. Safety relies on the single-sequencer chain having no public mempool; this assumption is not enforced by the contract.
  • [medium] Hook takes tokens from swaps via return deltas: Tax is skimmed through beforeSwap and afterSwap return deltas, so the hook takes quote tokens from every qualifying swap up to 5% per side, which is a direct user cost.
  • [medium] Owner-controlled fee routing addresses: Owner can change the referral splitter, platform address and swap config; a malicious or compromised owner could redirect future platform and referral cuts and the swap router used on claim.
  • [info] Auto-distribute failures are silently absorbed: The auto-distribute path swallows failures with try/catch and restores accrued state, a deliberate self-healing gap that can silently defer distribution.
  • [info] Upgrade authority is frozen despite upgradeable proxy: Owner and admin can reassign creators and set launchers; source comments describe owner-authorized upgrades but the deployed _authorizeUpgrade freezes upgrades permanently.
