What it does

An immutable price-oracle hook that records each pool's price history on swaps to provide TWAP and volatility readings, with a possible volatility-based fee view, and it cannot take trader funds or restrict LP withdrawals.

How it works step by step

  • Records a price (tick) history for each pool after it is initialized and as swaps happen, building a time-weighted average price (TWAP) oracle.
  • Exposes read functions for the current spot tick, TWAP over a chosen window, cumulative values and a volatility measure.
  • Appears to compute a current fee from a base fee and observed volatility, readable through a view function.
  • Does not touch liquidity adds or withdrawals.
Swap behaviour
Before and after each swap the hook reads the pool price and updates its stored observations. It cannot take tokens from swaps, and no blocking or trader gating was seen beyond the oracle update.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
Fee behaviour
The hook has a base fee constant and a volatility-based current fee view, but the exact values and whether beforeSwap applies it as a dynamic override cannot be confirmed from bytecode. If no override applies, the pool's own fee is used, and any fee goes to LPs through normal pool mechanics.
Owner & admin controls
No admin controls found; no owner or setter functions appear in the bytecode.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

afterInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap

afterInitialize sets up the pool's first price observation; beforeSwap records or refreshes the observation before trading; afterSwap records the post-swap price.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: low, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).

Who controls it: No owner or admin functions were found, and the contract is not a proxy.

Risk to user funds: The hook holds no user funds and cannot take tokens from swaps or LPs. LP principal cannot be locked or drained by this hook.

Security findings

  • [info] No fund-moving capability: Return-delta permissions are disabled, so the hook cannot deduct tokens from swaps or liquidity actions.
  • [info] Unrestricted LP withdrawals: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook can never block or charge LP withdrawals.
  • [info] Fee details unverified: A volatility-based fee view exists but its range and whether it is applied to swaps cannot be confirmed without source.
