What it does
A token tax hook that charges fixed buy and sell taxes on every swap and uses the proceeds to buy back the token, while outside LPs can withdraw freely.
How it works step by step
- Charges a buy tax and a sell tax on swaps of a specific token pool, taken directly from swap amounts.
- Accumulates collected tax (tracked as total tax collected) and can use it to buy back the project token from the pool.
- Buybacks can run automatically after swaps or be triggered by an owner-set buyback operator, in chunks with a minimum size.
- Holds the project's own LP position as an NFT with a time lock that the owner can extend, then withdraw after unlock, and can collect that position's LP fees.
- Swap behaviour
- On each swap the hook takes a fixed buy or sell tax (hard-coded constants whose exact percentages cannot be read from bytecode) from the swap amounts, and may run an automatic buyback using collected tax.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks are enabled, so outside LPs can add and withdraw freely. The hook separately holds a time-locked project LP NFT that only the owner can withdraw after the lock expires.
- Fee behaviour
- A fixed buy tax and sell tax (constants, likely separate values, exact percentages unknown from bytecode) are deducted via swap return deltas and kept by the hook for buybacks; the pool's LP fee applies as normal.
- Owner & admin controls
- The owner can toggle buybacks and auto-buyback, set buyback parameters (chunk size, minimum amount, max chunks per transaction), set the buyback operator, extend the LP lock, collect LP fees and withdraw the project LP after unlock. Tax rates appear to be constants and not adjustable.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeSwap: computes and takes tax on the input side; afterSwap: takes tax from output and may trigger auto-buyback; beforeSwapReturnDelta/afterSwapReturnDelta: let the hook deduct the tax from swap amounts.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: A single owner controls buyback settings, the buyback operator, and the project LP position. They cannot change tax rates or block third-party LP withdrawals.
Risk to user funds: Traders lose a fixed buy/sell tax of unverified size on each swap. Third-party LP principal cannot be locked or drained because remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled.
Security findings
- [low] Swap tax via return deltas: Buy and sell taxes are fixed constants deducted from swaps; exact rates are not verifiable from bytecode, so check them before trading.
- [low] Owner-controlled buyback of collected tax: Collected tax is spent buying back the token under owner/operator-set parameters; the operator can trigger buybacks with custom data.
- [info] Project LP time lock: The project's own LP NFT is locked until an unlock time the owner can only extend; after that the owner can withdraw it, which would remove that liquidity.
