What it does

A launch-sale hook that seeds its own token liquidity, tracks tokens sold after each swap, and sends proceeds to a beneficiary when closed, with no extra fees on any trade and no limits on LP withdrawals.

This read was written for the hook 0xdca3…8040 on Robinhood Chain and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.

How it works step by step

  • Appears to run a token sale or launch where the hook seeds a single-sided liquidity position for a token in a set tick range.
  • Tracks how many tokens have been sold through swaps after each trade (afterSwap updates sold counters).
  • Has a close function that can end the sale, likely pulling remaining liquidity and sending proceeds to a beneficiary address.
  • Exposes status views such as active, seeded, allocated, tokens sold and a snapshot of the sale state.
Swap behaviour
After each swap the hook records sale progress, such as tokens sold, and may update its state. It cannot take tokens from the swap because return-delta permissions are disabled.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks, so outside LPs can add and withdraw freely. The hook manages its own seeded position through the PoolManager and can withdraw it when the sale is closed.
Fee behaviour
Uses the pool's static fee. No hook fee is taken from swaps.
Owner & admin controls
A seeding function and a close function exist. Who can call them, and their exact conditions, cannot be confirmed from bytecode. Closing likely removes the hook's own position and sends funds to the beneficiary.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

afterSwap

afterSwap: tracks tokens sold and sale progress after each trade.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: low, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).

Who controls it: A beneficiary or deployer likely controls seeding and closing the sale. They can end the sale and collect its proceeds, but they cannot affect other users' swaps or LP positions.

Risk to user funds: Traders pay no extra hook fee, with 0% deducted by the hook. Third-party LP principal cannot be locked or drained; only the hook's own seeded tokens and sale proceeds are moved.

Security findings

  • [info] Hook-owned sale position: The hook seeds and later removes its own liquidity and sends proceeds to a beneficiary via take and transfer. This only touches the hook's own position, not other LPs' funds.
  • [info] Cannot touch swaps or withdrawals: Return-delta and remove-liquidity permissions are disabled. The hook cannot skim swap amounts or block LP withdrawals.
  • [info] Unverified source: Access control on the seeding and close functions could not be confirmed from bytecode.
