What it does
A token trading hook that charges owner-set buy and sell fees on swaps, up to an unverified cap, and lets the owner pause trading and blacklist wallets, while LPs can always withdraw freely.
How it works step by step
- Charges separate buy and sell fees on swaps of a specific token, taken directly from swap amounts and sent to a fee receiver.
- Owner can turn trading on or off; swaps revert with TradingNotOpen while disabled (authorized addresses may be exempt).
- Owner can blacklist addresses, likely blocking them from trading.
- Fees that cannot be paid out immediately are parked and later settled through a separate call.
- Owner can withdraw ETH, ERC20 tokens or NFTs held by the hook contract itself.
- Swap behaviour
- Swaps only work on allowed pools and only while trading is enabled. Blacklisted traders may be blocked, and a buy or sell fee is deducted from the swap through return deltas.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks are enabled, so LPs can add and withdraw freely and the hook cannot block withdrawals.
- Fee behaviour
- Separate buy and sell fees in basis points are set by the owner and limited by a hard-coded FEE_CAP_BPS whose exact value is not readable from bytecode. Fees go to a fee receiver, and the owner can switch them off entirely.
- Owner & admin controls
- The owner and authorized operators can pause or enable trading, blacklist or unblacklist addresses, grant or revoke access, update buy and sell fees up to an unknown cap, disable fees, and withdraw assets held by the hook. Ownership uses a two-step transfer and can be renounced.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize restricts which pools can use the hook; beforeSwap checks trading status and blacklist and can charge a fee; afterSwap takes fees from output and parks unpaid fees; the swap return-delta permissions let the hook change swap amounts to collect fees.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: Not stated.
Risk to user funds: The hook takes buy and sell fees from swap amounts up to an unverified cap, and the owner can sweep any tokens held by the hook. LP principal in the PoolManager cannot be locked or drained.
Security findings
- [medium] Trading pause switch: The owner can disable trading at any time, which makes swaps through this hook revert.
- [medium] Trader blacklist: The owner can blacklist addresses, which can stop specific wallets from swapping, including from selling.
- [low] Fee cap not verifiable: A fee cap constant exists, but its value cannot be confirmed from bytecode, so the maximum buy and sell fee is unknown.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so LP principal cannot be locked by this hook.
