What it does
A token-launch hook that takes admin-set buy and sell fees from swaps, up to a fixed ceiling, and sends them to a fee receiver, while LPs can withdraw freely.
How it works step by step
- Attached to a token launch pool and checks at pool creation that the starting price matches a preset launch price.
- Charges a separate buy fee and sell fee on swaps, taken from the swap amounts through return deltas.
- Sends collected fees to a fee receiver address, holding them in a parked balance first if needed, which anyone can flush.
- Lets an admin change the buy and sell fee rates up to a hard-coded ceiling, and rescue stray tokens, native coins or NFTs held by the hook.
- Swap behaviour
- On each swap the hook takes a buy-side or sell-side percentage fee from the trade amount, so buyers and sellers can pay different rates. A trading-open flag exists, so swaps may be restricted until trading opens, but the exact rule cannot be confirmed from bytecode.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
- Fee behaviour
- Separate buy and sell fee rates are stored as small numbers and capped by a fixed rate ceiling, whose exact value is not visible in the decoded bytecode. Fees go to a fee receiver address.
- Owner & admin controls
- Admins can change buy and sell fee rates, but setting a rate above the hard-coded ceiling reverts. Admins can also rescue tokens, native coins and NFTs held by the hook contract.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize checks the launch price when the pool is created; beforeSwap applies fee logic and possibly trading gating; afterSwap collects the fee after the swap; beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta let the hook take its fee from the swap amounts.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).
Who controls it: Admin accounts can set fee rates up to a ceiling and rescue assets held by the hook. They cannot block LP withdrawals.
Risk to user funds: The hook takes a buy or sell fee from swap amounts, capped by an unverified ceiling. LP principal cannot be locked or drained because remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled.
Security findings
- [low] Admin-adjustable swap fees: Buy and sell rates can be changed by an admin up to a fixed ceiling whose value is not visible in the bytecode.
- [low] Possible trading gate: A tradingOpen flag suggests swaps could be blocked before launch. How it is toggled is unclear.
- [info] Rescue functions: Admins can withdraw tokens held by the hook itself, which may include parked fees. LP principal in the PoolManager is not affected.
