What it does

A launch-style hook for a token/ETH pool that takes a tax on every buy and sell, starting very high to deter bots and falling to a normal 1.5% that funds a game reward pool and a dev splitter.

How it works step by step

  • Restricts pool creation to the owner and one TOKEN/ETH pool with zero LP fee and this hook
  • Blocks swaps until the token has been started and only allows swaps on the configured pool
  • Takes a tax on the ETH leg of every swap, always in ETH, via beforeSwap and afterSwap return deltas
  • Applies an anti-bot launch tax that starts at 90% and decays linearly to the normal 1.5% over 60 seconds by default
  • Pushes collected ETH to the game reward pool and dev splitter, retaining undelivered amounts for retry
  • Enforces a per-buy maximum amount from the token contract
Swap behaviour
Every buy and sell is taxed on the ETH leg: the tax is added to the buyer's ETH cost or subtracted from the seller's ETH proceeds via beforeSwap or afterSwap return deltas, depending on which leg is specified. Buys are also limited by a per-transaction maximum enforced through the token's maxBuy value.

Fee behaviour
Charges a tax on the ETH leg of every buy and sell: normal split of 1% game reward pool and 0.5% dev splitter by default, plus an anti-bot launch surcharge that starts at 90% at trading start and decays linearly to the normal tax over 60 seconds. Taxes are pushed to the configured receivers in the same swap, and undelivered ETH is retained in pendingGame/pendingDev and retried later.
Owner & admin controls
Owner (solady Ownable, two-step handover) can switch the allowed token (instant before trading or while the review token is set, otherwise queued 1 day), set tax splits via setConfig (total capped at 1.5%, instant before trading, queued 1 day after), set the launch tax and duration before trading starts (capped at 99% and 1 hour), set tickSpacing before pool creation, and call startTrading to start the token. Pending token and config changes can be cancelled by the owner. The owner also designates which pool can be initialized.

beforeInitialize restricts pool creation to the owner and a single TOKEN/ETH pool with fee 0 and this hook. beforeSwap enforces trading start and pool identity and computes the tax taken as a specified-currency delta on exact-in buys and exact-out sells. afterSwap enforces the per-buy maxBuy limit and takes the tax as an unspecified-currency delta on the other swap direction. beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta allow the hook to take ETH from swaps.

Security & trust assessment

Who controls it: The owner can point the hook at a different token (after trading starts this is timelocked 1 day, except when the current token is the review token or trading has not started), change the tax split within the 1.5% cap, and set the launch tax before trading. Changes to receivers take effect after a one day delay once trading starts, which limits instant redirection, but the owner retains control over which token trades and when trading starts.

Risk to user funds: The hook can hold ETH temporarily and takes a configurable tax (up to 1.5% normal plus a launch surcharge up to 99%) from every buy and sell, delivered to the configured game and splitter addresses. Swaps are gated by trading start, the single pool, and maxBuy, and the owner can halt or redirect trading by switching the token, but the hook does not move LP principal directly.
