What it does
This launchpad hook charges an anti-sniping tax on non-exempt early swaps, at rates that cannot be confirmed from bytecode, and recycles collected funds through a keeper routine, while LPs can always withdraw freely.
This read was written for the hook 0xb80f…24ce on Robinhood Chain and reused here: the two run the same code.
How it works step by step
- Acts as the hook for pools created by a linked launchpad contract; only the launchpad can register pools.
- Applies an anti-sniping tax on early swaps, with per-pool tax rates and an exemption list of addresses.
- Takes part of swap amounts through return deltas and records them as claim balances or internal reserves per pool.
- Runs a keeper-driven 'work' routine on a cooldown, paying a bounty, that appears to recycle collected funds (for example into liquidity bands or a distributor).
- Can adjust amounts on liquidity adds through an add-liquidity return delta, likely for launchpad-managed positions.
- Swap behaviour
- Before and after each swap the hook can charge a tax, such as a snipe tax for non-exempt traders early in a launch, by changing the swap amounts. The exact tax rates and how fast they decay cannot be confirmed from bytecode.
- Liquidity behaviour
- After liquidity is added the hook runs and can change the amounts the LP settles, and it tracks per-pool reserves. Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook cannot block or charge LP withdrawals.
- Fee behaviour
- Charges a per-pool snipe tax and possibly other swap taxes through return deltas. Proceeds go to internal reserves, a distributor, and a keeper bounty. Exact percentages and caps are not visible in the bytecode.
- Owner & admin controls
- The owner can set the launchpad, distributor and keeper, change the work cooldown and bounty, and pause the work routine. The launchpad sets per-pool configuration, including snipe tax and exemptions; caps on these are unknown.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, afterAddLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta, afterAddLiquidityReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: restricts pool creation to known launchpad pools; afterAddLiquidity plus its return delta: tracks and adjusts liquidity adds; beforeSwap/afterSwap plus return deltas: apply snipe tax and fee capture on swaps.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, low confidence).
Who controls it: The owner controls the launchpad, distributor and keeper addresses and the work settings. The launchpad sets per-pool tax settings whose limits are unknown.
Risk to user funds: The hook can take a portion of swap amounts and adjust liquidity-add amounts, at rates that cannot be confirmed from bytecode. LP principal can always be withdrawn.
Security findings
- [medium] Unverified swap taxes: Swap return deltas let the hook deduct from trades as snipe tax. The maximum rate is set through launchpad configuration and cannot be verified from bytecode.
- [low] Snipe exemption list: Some addresses can be exempted from the snipe tax, so different traders may pay different amounts.
- [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook can never block LP withdrawals or take fees on them.
