What it does
A launchpad hook for wSTRATM-paired tokens that charges both buyers and sellers a token-set wSTRATM tax, decaying toward 0.30% to 5% but allowed up to 99%, split among the token's recipients and a 0.15% protocol share.
How it works step by step
- Launchpad hook for tokens paired against wSTRATM; only authorized launchers can create pools, one pool per token.
- Charges a swap tax in wSTRATM: on buys it is taken from the wSTRATM input, on sells from the wSTRATM output.
- The tax rate is read from the token itself and must sit between 0.30% and 99% while launching, with a long-run resting rate of 0.30% to 5%.
- Tax is split between the token's fee recipient, a decay recipient (the extra above the resting rate), and a protocol recipient that gets a share equal to 0.15% of the swap amount.
- Only exact-input swaps are allowed. Adding liquidity from outside is blocked unless the token enables it, and the hook reports liquidity moves back to the token contract.
- Swap behaviour
- Exact-output swaps revert. Buys pay the token's current tax on the wSTRATM input before the swap and sells pay it on the wSTRATM output after the swap, with the rate anywhere from 0.30% up to 99% depending on the token's settings.
- Liquidity behaviour
- Adding liquidity reverts after launch unless the token enables external liquidity. Removing liquidity is never blocked by the hook's own code, which only reports the amounts to the token, though the token's accounting call could in theory revert.
- Fee behaviour
- The tax rate comes from the token and is capped at 99%, with a resting rate of 0.30% to 5%. It is paid in wSTRATM straight from the PoolManager, split among the token fee recipient, a decay recipient (the portion above the resting rate) and the protocol recipient (0.15% of the swap amount).
- Owner & admin controls
- The owner can change the protocol fee recipient, approve launchers, keepers and distributors, and rescue assets sent to the hook by mistake. The tax rate itself is controlled by each token contract, within the hook's 99% cap.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, afterAddLiquidity, afterRemoveLiquidity, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: restricts pool creation to authorized launches of wSTRATM pairs; afterAddLiquidity: blocks external LPs when disabled and reports amounts to the token; afterRemoveLiquidity: reports withdrawal amounts to the token; beforeSwap + beforeSwapReturnDelta: takes the buy tax from wSTRATM input; afterSwap + afterSwapReturnDelta: takes the sell tax from wSTRATM output and reports transfers to the token.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: high (verified source, high confidence).
Who controls it: The owner, described as a protocol Safe, controls launcher approval, the protocol fee recipient and the distributor lists. The tax rate is set by each token contract, up to 99%.
Risk to user funds: Traders can lose 0.30% to 99% of the wSTRATM side of each swap to tax, depending on the token's current rate. LP principal is not taken by the hook, but withdrawals depend on the token's accounting call not reverting.
Security findings
- [high] Very high tax cap: The hook accepts token-set tax rates up to 99% on both buys and sells, so a token could charge nearly the entire trade amount. The rate is expected to decay toward a resting rate of 0.30% to 5%.
- [medium] Token contract controls tax and LP accounting: Tax rates and recipients come from the external token, and each liquidity change calls the token's accounting function. If that call reverts, withdrawals or trades would fail.
- [info] Rescue limited to the hook's own balance: The owner's rescue function only moves assets held by the hook itself. Fees are sent directly to their recipients during the swap, and pool reserves stay in the PoolManager.
