What it does

A Uniswap v4 hook that charges a creator-chosen trade fee on graduated tokens and splits it between the creator, the platform and a referral rail, with the creator keeping their full chosen rate.

How it works step by step

  • Blocks pool initialization unless the pool was registered by an authorized registrar with a matching ETH currency0 and zero LP fee.
  • Skims the entire creator-set total fee in ETH from each swap, using beforeSwap or afterSwap depending on swap direction so exactly one skim fires per swap.
  • Splits each skim into a flat 30 bps platform add-on and 5 bps referral add-on of volume, with the creator receiving the remainder so they keep their chosen rate.
  • Accrues fees as ERC-6909 claim balances inside the PoolManager instead of pushing tokens, so a reverting recipient cannot brick swaps.
  • Lets the creator, treasury, owner and feeClaimer pull accrued balances to a chosen address through separate claim functions.
Swap behaviour
On every swap the hook takes the whole registered fee in ETH: in beforeSwap when ETH is the specified currency (exact-in buy, exact-out sell) and in afterSwap when ETH is unspecified (exact-in sell, exact-out buy). Fees are minted to the hook as ERC-6909 and credited to creator, platform and referral balances. Partially filled ETH-specified swaps revert.

Fee behaviour
Pool charges zero LP fee; the hook skims the entire creator-set total fee (50-535 bps, or a global snapshot up to 535 bps) from each swap in ETH. Of the skim, 30 bps of volume goes to platform and 5 bps to referral as fixed add-ons, and the creator keeps the remainder (their chosen rate). Trader pays rate + 35 bps. Fees accrue as ERC-6909 credits and are claimed by pull.
Owner & admin controls
Owner (Ownable) can set registrars (setRegistrar) who gate pool registration, set treasury and feeClaimer addresses, and transfer or renounce ownership. Owner or treasury can claim platform fees; owner or feeClaimer can claim referral fees. Fee bounds are constant, so owner cannot change per-pool fees after registration.

beforeInitialize restricts pool initialization to pools registered by a registrar. beforeSwap skims fees off the input when ETH is the specified currency. afterSwap skims fees off the ETH leg when ETH is unspecified, and reverts partially filled ETH-specified swaps to avoid overcharging. beforeSwapReturnDelta and afterSwapReturnDelta allow the hook to take the skim as a delta.

Who controls it: Owner can register arbitrary addresses as registrars who can then register pools, grant or revoke registrar status, redirect the treasury and feeClaimer roles, and transfer ownership. Owner cannot alter an existing pool's fee or creator. Treasury and feeClaimer can withdraw accrued platform and referral balances to any address they choose.

Risk to user funds: The hook can take up to the registered total fee (max 5.35%) of each swap's ETH leg, and holds accrued balances as ERC-6909 claims until withdrawn. It cannot block swaps for non-registered pools (beforeInitialize only gates initialization), and claims are isolated per recipient so a reverting recipient only fails its own claim. Owner-controlled roles can redirect accrued platform and referral balances.

Security findings
