What it does

A token launch hook that charges owner-set buy and sell taxes on every swap, up to a capped maximum, and sends them to marketing and dev wallets and to liquidity and buyback-burn funds, while LPs can withdraw freely.

How it works step by step

  • Acts as the hook for a single token launch pool, setting up the pool once at initialization.
  • Charges separate buy and sell taxes on swaps, split across several buckets such as marketing, dev, liquidity and burn.
  • Accumulates ETH for adding liquidity and for buyback-and-burn, which anyone can trigger through a burn function once thresholds are met.
  • Records per-address credits that can later be claimed or used.
  • Owner can change the buy and sell fee splits and the marketing, dev and staking recipient addresses.
Swap behaviour
On each swap the hook takes a buy or sell tax from the swap amounts using return deltas, and may run a swap-size check and slippage protection. The tax rates are set by the owner, up to a hard-coded maximum whose exact value cannot be read from bytecode.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely. The hook itself manages a launch liquidity position through the position manager.
Fee behaviour
Separate buy and sell fees, each made of four components, are deducted from swaps and sent to marketing and dev wallets, a liquidity fund and a burn fund. A MAX_TOTAL_FEE_BPS constant and a FeeTooHigh error show the total is capped, but the exact cap is not visible in bytecode.
Owner & admin controls
The owner can update buy and sell fee splits within the contract's maximum total fee, change the marketing, dev and LP staking addresses, and configure launch parameters. Ownership uses a two-step transfer and can be renounced.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

beforeInitialize: one-time pool setup and binding to this hook's pool; beforeSwap: applies buy tax and swap checks; afterSwap: applies sell tax, accrues fee buckets and may trigger burns; beforeSwapReturnDelta/afterSwapReturnDelta: let the hook deduct taxes from swap amounts.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).

Who controls it: A single owner controls fee rates (up to an unverified cap) and fee recipient wallets. The worst they can do is raise swap taxes to the cap and redirect tax revenue.

Risk to user funds: The hook can take a tax from traders' swap amounts, up to an unverified hard-coded maximum. LP principal cannot be locked or drained by the hook.

Security findings

  • [medium] Owner-adjustable swap taxes: The owner can change buy and sell tax splits. They are bounded by a maximum total fee constant, but its exact value is not verifiable from bytecode.
  • [low] Swap amounts modified by return deltas: The hook takes tax tokens directly from swaps and routes them to wallets and burn and liquidity funds.
  • [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook cannot block or charge LP withdrawals.
