How it works step by step

  • beforeSwap computes market cap from the pool's sqrtPriceX96 and returns a dynamic LP fee (1.50% down to 0.50%) with OVERRIDE_FEE_FLAG.
  • afterSwap records the MC-weighted creator/protocol split of the fee on exact-input buys, read later by the locker via pendingSplitBps.
  • Fees accrue to the locked single-sided curve position and are collected and split by FeeLockerV4, not skimmed by the hook.
  • Creator share ranges from 40% to 76% of the fee depending on the market-cap band; creators claim via claimCreatorFees with payout wallets.
  • Graduation progress is derived from slot0 and the curve geometry; factory-only markGraduated flips the pool to the graduated fee band once the ETH threshold is met.
Swap behaviour

No key can change fee rates, pause swaps, or move pool funds; fee constants are hardcoded in the bytecode.

Risk to user funds: The hook only holds ETH fees accrued from trades pending claim by the creator or treasury; it does not custody LP principal or move pool tokens (no return deltas). Claims are restricted to the stored payout config or treasury address, so an external party cannot drain accrued balances.
