What it does

Launchpad hook that takes a 2% (max 5%) fee on swaps of Rush-launched tokens plus a decaying anti-sniper tax on early buys (up to 30% extra), so early buyers pay most while LPs can withdraw freely.

How it works step by step

  • Charges a platform fee on every swap of tokens launched through the Rush factory, taken in the quote token (for example ETH).
  • Adds an extra anti-sniping tax on buys right after launch that starts high and shrinks to zero over a set number of blocks.
  • Fees are held by the hook and can be withdrawn only by the owner.
  • Has no liquidity callbacks, so LPs can add and remove liquidity freely.
Swap behaviour
On swaps of registered launch tokens, the hook takes a fee in the quote token from either the input (before the swap) or the output (after the swap). Buys made within the snipe window after launch pay an extra tax that falls linearly to zero.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
Fee behaviour
The base fee is fixed per token at registration (default 2%, owner can set up to 5% for future launches). Buys also pay a decaying snipe tax (default up to 15% over 10 blocks, owner-adjustable up to 30% with any block length), so buys can pay up to 35% while sells pay at most 5%; all fees go to the hook for the owner to collect.
Owner & admin controls
The owner can set the base fee for new launches up to 5% and the snipe tax up to 30% with an unlimited block duration, which applies to all tokens immediately. The owner can withdraw all accumulated fees to any address.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeSwap, afterSwap, beforeSwapReturnDelta, afterSwapReturnDelta

beforeSwap: takes the fee when the quote amount is the specified side; beforeSwapReturnDelta: charges that fee to the swapper; afterSwap: takes the fee from the quote side when it is the unspecified amount; afterSwapReturnDelta: deducts that fee from the swap result.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: medium (verified source, high confidence).

Who controls it: A single owner (two-step transfer) controls fee settings and fee withdrawals. The worst they can do is raise buy taxes to up to 35% for a long window.

Risk to user funds: The hook only takes fees from swaps: up to 5% on sells and up to 35% on buys. It cannot touch LP principal and LPs can always withdraw.

Security findings

  • [medium] Snipe tax can reach 30% on buys: The owner can set the snipe tax up to 30% and the snipe window to any number of blocks, affecting existing tokens too, so buys could pay up to 35% total for an extended time.
  • [info] Base fee capped at 5%: The per-token base fee is locked at registration and new launches cannot exceed 5%.
  • [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so the hook cannot block or tax withdrawals.
