What it does

An ownerless oracle-priced ETH/pair-token market where every swap pays a fixed 1.5% fee and executes near the oracle price against hook-owned liquidity, with trading halted on stale prices and no outside LPs allowed.

How it works step by step

  • Runs a single ETH / pair-token market whose price is pinned to Chainlink-style oracle feeds (asset USD price vs ETH USD price).
  • The hook owns all liquidity: a buy band of freshly minted pair tokens below the oracle price and a sell band holding the entire ETH reserve above it.
  • Before outside swaps, if the oracle moved or the price drifted half a band away, it pulls both bands, moves the pool to the oracle price and re-adds them.
  • Swaps revert if either oracle price is stale, so trading halts on bad price data.
  • Outside users cannot create pools with this hook or add/remove their own liquidity; anyone can donate ETH to the reserve, which can only leave by people selling pair tokens.
Swap behaviour
Each swap starts at or near the oracle price and can only move within a narrow band of ticks before the hook re-centres; swaps revert if oracle data is older than the configured max age. No tokens are deducted by the hook beyond the normal pool fee.
Liquidity behaviour
Third-party liquidity adds and removals always revert; only the hook itself provides liquidity. No outside LP deposits exist, so no outside LP funds can be trapped.
Fee behaviour
Fixed 1.5% pool fee on every swap, earned by the hook's own positions and kept in the ETH reserve. No dynamic fee override.
Owner & admin controls
No admin controls found; all parameters (feeds, max age, band width, depth) are immutable and lifecycle functions are permissionless.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, beforeAddLiquidity, beforeRemoveLiquidity, beforeSwap

beforeInitialize blocks anyone else from creating pools with this hook; beforeAddLiquidity blocks outside liquidity; beforeRemoveLiquidity blocks outside removals (only the hook's own bypassing calls work); beforeSwap re-centres liquidity on the oracle price and enforces fresh prices.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: low (verified source, high confidence).

Who controls it: There is no owner or upgrade path; trust rests on the immutable oracle feed contracts chosen at deployment.

Risk to user funds: Traders pay a fixed 1.5% fee and trade against the hook's reserve at oracle price; nobody can withdraw the reserve or mint pair tokens outside the band rule. No outside LP funds are held.

Security findings

  • [info] Oracle-dependent pricing: Prices come entirely from two external price feeds; if they go stale swaps halt, and if they are wrong traders trade at the wrong price within one band.
  • [info] No outside LPs: Remove-liquidity is blocked for everyone except the hook, but since outside adds are also blocked no external LP principal can be trapped.
  • [info] Donated ETH is non-withdrawable: ETH sent via deposit becomes reserve that only leaves when users sell pair tokens; there is no owner withdrawal.
