What it does
A singleton Uniswap v4 hook for graduated meme-token pools that takes a capped swap fee and routes it to the protocol and the token creator, either as direct payouts or as a buyback-and-lock program.
How it works step by step
- beforeInitialize restricts pool initialization to the registered executor.
- afterSwap records the last swap block and takes a hookFeeBps fee (max 1%) from the unspecified side of each swap.
- Protocol share (max 50% of the fee) is credited to the protocol recipient through FeeEscrow.
- CreatorFees mode credits the creator's share of the fee in the currency received.
- BuybackAndLock mode locks launch-token fees in BuybackVault and accumulates pair-token fees for a permissionless buyback.
- executeBuyback pays a 10% keeper reward, swaps the rest into launch tokens after a 5-block cooldown, and locks them for the creator.
- Swap behaviour
- After each swap the hook records the block, takes a fee of up to 1% from the unspecified currency via return delta, pays the protocol share immediately and routes the creator share according to the pool's fee mode.
- Liquidity behaviour
- No liquidity callbacks.
- Fee behaviour
- Each swap is charged a hook fee of up to 1% (hookFeeBps, capped at 100 bps) taken from the unspecified currency via afterSwap return delta. The fee is split between the protocol share (up to 50%, credited to the protocol recipient immediately) and the creator share. In CreatorFees mode the creator share is credited in whatever currency was taken. In BuybackAndLock mode, launch-token fees are locked in the BuybackVault and pair-token fees accumulate in pendingBuyback for a later buyback.
- Owner & admin controls
- Owner (Ownable) can set factory, buyback vault and executor once each (set-once, then AlreadyInitialized), and can transfer ownership; renounceOwnership is disabled. The factory can update the creator fee recipient for a pool. The executor can register pools and is the only sender allowed to initialize pools. No pause, no upgrade proxy and no parameter setters for fee rates were found in the decoded interface; fee and cooldown constants are immutable.
Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks
beforeInitialize, afterSwap, afterSwapReturnDelta
beforeInitialize: restricts pool initialization so only the executor address may initialize pools. afterSwap: records last swap block, takes the hook fee and routes protocol and creator shares. afterSwapReturnDelta: lets the hook claim a portion of the swap's unspecified-currency delta as its fee.
Security & trust assessment
Risk level: medium (verified source, high confidence).
Who controls it: The owner cannot change fee rates or pause swaps, but controls the one-time wiring of factory, executor and vault, and ownership transfer. The factory can redirect creator fee recipients for any pool, which redirects future creator fee flows. The executor can register pools with arbitrary parameters within caps (protocol share up to 50%, hook fee up to 1%, buyback threshold greater than zero) and controls which pools get initialized.
Risk to user funds: The hook holds fee tokens transiently during afterSwap and during buyback execution, and interacts with the pool manager to take and settle currencies. It can take up to 1% of unspecified-side output from swaps. It does not hold LP principal and has no liquidity callbacks, so LP positions are not directly affected. Pending buyback balances and vault locks are held in the contract or vault until a permissionless buyback or lock call.
Security findings
- [info] Hook skims swap output via return delta: Hook takes up to 1% of the unspecified currency on every swap through afterSwapReturnDelta, so the hook directly moves user swap value.
- [medium] Factory can redirect creator fee recipient: The factory can call setCreatorFeeRecipient to reassign the creator share of fees for any registered pool, redirecting accrued flows to an arbitrary address.
- [medium] Permissionless buyback swap with spot-relative slippage bound: executeBuyback is callable by anyone and swaps pair-token for launch-token inside the pool after a 5-block cooldown. Price protection relies only on a 3% sqrt-price limit computed from the spot price at execution time, so a manipulated spot price may still allow value leakage within that band.
- [low] Slippage guard uses spot price as reference: The internal buyback swap ignores the caller's minimum output and relies on a price limit derived from current spot price, which can be moved within the cooldown window by large trades in both directions.
- [low] Immutable escrow dependency: Creator and protocol fee accrual goes through an external FeeEscrow with forceApprove patterns. Escrow and vault addresses are set once by the owner and cannot be changed, so a compromised escrow would affect all pools.
