What it does

This hook only lets owner-allowlisted wallets swap at the pool's normal fee, charging no extra fees to anyone, while LPs can add and withdraw liquidity freely.

This read was written for the hook 0x370b…6080 on Robinhood Chain and reused here: the two share a code shape, so constants such as fees, owners and addresses can differ.

How it works step by step

  • Restricts who can swap in the pool to wallets on an owner-managed allowlist.
  • Keeps versioned allowlists, and the owner can switch which version is active.
  • Checks the pool setup at initialization, likely tying the hook to one pool and a preset starting price.
  • References a router and quoter, which suggests swaps may be checked against the router-forwarded trader or allowed system addresses.
  • Does not touch swap amounts or LP withdrawals.
Swap behaviour
Before each swap the hook checks whether the trader is on the active allowlist version and reverts if not. It does not change swap amounts or charge any extra fee.
Liquidity behaviour
No liquidity callbacks; LPs can add and withdraw freely.
Fee behaviour
Uses the pool's static fee.
Owner & admin controls
The owner can create and edit allowlist versions (with a stated maximum wallet count), add or remove wallets, and change which version is active, which can effectively stop anyone from trading. Ownership uses a two-step transfer and can be renounced.

Enabled Uniswap v4 callbacks

beforeInitialize, beforeSwap

beforeInitialize: validates the pool and starting price when the pool is created; beforeSwap: blocks swaps from wallets not on the active allowlist.

Security & trust assessment

Risk level: medium, estimated (decoded bytecode, medium confidence).

Who controls it: A single owner manages the allowlist and active version. At worst they can block any or all traders from swapping, but cannot move funds.

Risk to user funds: The hook cannot touch trader or LP funds and adds no fees. LP principal cannot be locked or drained by this hook.

Security findings

  • [medium] Owner-controlled trader allowlist: Only allowlisted wallets can swap, and the owner can change the list or active version at any time, so trading access can be revoked or halted.
  • [info] No fund-taking capability: Swap and liquidity return deltas are disabled, so the hook cannot take tokens from swaps or LPs.
  • [info] LP withdrawals unrestricted: Remove-liquidity callbacks are disabled, so LPs can always withdraw.
